Good service. However, no sushi the day I visited. The $18 Margarita was not that great... My dining partner didn't like the Kool aid red of the drink... All he drinks is strawberry margaritas... And said it was too artificial tasting. My michelada was better... Solid flavor.
The Mulitas de lengua were good... The lengua was prepared well, but the tortillas were not warmed up properly. I expect the edges to be lightly browned... These looked unheated, pale.
There are many excellent Mexican places in Burien... So we'll be visiting somewhere else next time.

We’ve been going here for years. The food is great, but the automated tip system calculates based on the post-tax total, which feels misleading. It’s definitely not the industry standard. I recommend double-checking and manually entering a tip.

Food was delicious. I got the shrimp and steak fajitas for 37, a little bit expensive but good.

Absolutely horrible experience. This place won’t be open much longer.
In my 32 years of eating at restaurants all over the world, this place is by far the worst.
No AC, hour long wait for food, incorrect information regarding food, not to mention my stomach hurts now. I’ll leave out how they argued with us about removing the order that wasn’t even eaten.
But wait………….There’s more! How about the plastic wrap that ended up in my mouth! Didn’t even apologize when brought to their attention.
And Jared Long, your racist comments make you and the business look bad. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.
The menu, the bar, the staff, this place is amazing. The food is super delicious!!! Watch out white people, if you think an onion is spicy, STAY AWAY! If you like flavor, this is where its at.

La Esquina is so close to being great. The food is delicious, the service friendly and the full bar impressive, with large, excellent drinks.
That said, their pricing and portions could use some work; we ordered chips and guac which was $8 and I kid you not, the guac was served in a soy sauce dish (maybe 2 Tablespoons worth?) and the chips weren't even house made. Compared to the plethora of other great Mexican food restaurants in the area, this was disappointing. The ambiance could also be greatly improved by some simple tweaks like candles for the tables, less sterile lighting, etc.
Once again, the food, including the sushi which was a surprise to see on the menu, and service were both really good so I hope they can get the rest of the experience up to par.
Excellent customer service.
Delicous tacos & drinks
Christian and crew do an exceptionally excellent job. Food is delicious.

The BIGGEST burrito i have ever seen and that's saying something
I strongly recommend La Esquina for their excellent service, food, and atmosphere! Our party of three visited on a late weekday afternoon in April 2025. The restaurant was super clean, and the atmosphere was excellent, somewhat modern, with west and north facing walls of glass, which made the restaurant feel airy and spacious. The staff was super friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our entire stay. We were seated promptly. To start, we ordered mojitos as well as calamari to share while we figured out our entrees. The calamari was great; I liked that the batter was crispy, the squid was perfectly cooked, and the dipping sauce was excellent! The mojitos were also excellent; they were not too sweet and I could really taste the fresh, crushed mint! For entrees, we ordered the adobada torta, burger, and a lobster roll. My mom loved her torta. I thought my burger was amazing, perfectly cooked, with veggies that tasted fresh! The lobster roll was super tasty, and the paired spicy dipping sauce was awesome! After finishing our meals, we ordered some artisanal tequila to sip that the staff recommended, and the tequila was an excellent way to end our meal and time at La Esquina! Overall, I look forward to visiting La Esquina again soon, and strongly recommend this restaurant to others!
Seriously impressive!
Christian had this brilliant idea to create a space with amazing food and with a large variety so families could come and dine together instead of going to 3 different restaurants then going back home to try eating it all together.
Christian, you did the thing! Congratulations and thank you. It is rare to find a place like this.
And the staff is incredible! Thank you Alberto and Nora for making my day 🥰🙏
