The food seems to be alright but they are scammed because they charge you a debit or credit card fee without even telling you or making you aware of the charge before making payment. Basically the customer isn't aware of the charge until it's too late. There's absolutely no where in the restaurant that posts there will be a debit or credit card charge if card is used as choice of payment. What's next? Are they gonna charge a fee for using cash next?

Ordered on Uber eats. This place has no business calling their restaurant southern anything. Even the white folks in the south put more life, love and most of all spices and salt for flavor into their food. This food seems to be for an old folks home where you can't have any salt or flavor. Chicken. Was soggy and no flavor, the grits had zero flavor as in no salt at all when making them period, the mac and cheese was the worst mac and cheese I have ever encountered nothing but a clump of cheese with some noodles no milk, butter or flavor. This was just all around bad. My son that eats everything and almost everything didn't even care for it in the slightest. Only thing that didn't go in the trash was the waffle and sweet tea and those were not even that good

I have ordered delivery from this place 10+ times and it is always great. Classic southern food done right. The catfish is the best around. Lots of places slice it super thin, but here they use nice thick portions with a great cornmeal crust. Give you juicy tender fish but with a nice crispy coating. The macaroni and cheese is the real deal as are the collard greens and po boy sandwiches.

DONT DO IT!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I came here from tiktok because of how good the person said it was. They have the nerve to serve old spoiled gumbo 🤮 it was so thick and you can just smell that it went bad but they just heat it up and served it. The seafood platter we got taste like I swam to the bottom of the ocean and ate the seafood from the sea floor. How can fried seafood taste watery and fishy ewwww nasty! Super disappointed even by the lady she had a nasty bad attitude. I’ll be reporting them to the health department. I guess the only good thing out of this whole experience is we got our money back!!
OMG! This restaurant is Amazing. We are visiting from Texas and this took us back home in an instant. The restaurant is coZy and welcoming. The food is great! Food portions are definitely not what i expected adding value to your dining experience. If you live close by , you should definitely stop in and have a good breakfast before a busy day. They say pictures are worth a thousand words but i couldn’t explain how good my food was in the pics i posted. Excellent!

My wife and I came here today to try it out and we are very glad we did. I ordered the Country fried steak which was made from scratch, perfectly cooked smothered in delicious gravy. Two eggs, hash browns and toast. My wife ordered the classic Benedict. The portions are huge. Everything was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. The service was polite and prompt. The place was clean and had a nostalgic decor. We will definitely be coming back.

They have mimosas which is a big plus but on top of that, they’ll do it by the pitcher!!
