Literally impossible to get in contact with your doctor, the day they’ll call you then they never do. Waste of time.
Walked in exactly 9 minutes late because I got stuck behind a train, (if you live in the area you know what an unavoidable and usual occurrence this is) and was told we couldn’t be seen because we were late. When I asked how late is the cutoff she said more than 10 minutes late. I explained when we walked in we were 9 minutes late, but because she had gotten up and walked away in the middle of checking us in, by the time she came back to finish the job it was more than 10. She looked at me dead faced and said nothing, acting like I hadn’t said a word, and just said again they can’t see me. In the middle of this unpleasant experience a nurse walked up glaring at me, looked at me and the computer, and walked away without a word, even when asked by the receptionist if she needed anything. Very unprofessional, aggressive, and downright rude staff. I haven’t even gotten as far as a doctor but just from the front experience alone it’s not a place I want to walk into again.
Have had no luck with these guys unfortunately one doctor told me that mental health issues are not real things including complex post traumatic stress disorder. I started going to maiden which was a drastic improvement but getting an appointment with him as a pcp is extremely rough so if I have an unexpected sickness or cold he’s 3 months out which is not very useful. A lot of the staff are rude on the phone but seem polite in person.
I am so blesssed that I get care here. I have a great care team that I know is for me. They truly care about their patients and it’s very evident.
I've been coming to PeaceHealth Burlington for about 3 years now and cannot say one bad word about the level of excellence, patience, kindness that I have received from this clinic. Dr. Michael Maiden is an excellent doctor as well as kind, is generous with information and all around great bedside manner-kind-of-doctor. He understands what is said, responds with intelligent answers in an easy to understand kinda way. Highly recommended.
Call hold times can and often do exceed 1 and even 2 hours!!!
Been waiting for them to fill a prescription going on 7 days and still it’s not done!
Even as I write this review I’m on hold and it’s been over 1 hour and 32 minutes and counting
Really bad phone experience with Denise. Super rude and very short with me for no reason.
I ended up hanging up on her as she was so shockingly rude.
Treated me like I was wasting her time.
I don’t know if that is Peacehealth or if she specifically works at this clinic.
Love my doctor though!
Completely new staff, certainly not the same as it was when Dr Starks was here. Have to call multiple times to get prescriptions filled, even after notifying the pharmacy a week ahead of time. Pharmacy sends them over, but it still requires a phone call after waiting for 4- 5 days. Very frustrating.Pretty much dissatisfied with the new staff.
Great place
I love my doctor and the front desk staff
Restaurantji Recommends
Have great staff and am always happy when coming here, not like other Dr offices..Been going to this facility for over 25yrs (before it was Peace Health) and I assure you this is the bee's knees of Drs.*Dr Tinkerhess is the BEST....
They have always been fantastic to me. Very kind staff
If you need a healthcare provider, I recommend Peacehealth in Burlington. Great friendly staff.
I like my provider but it is pretty insulting to show up early for an 8am appt only to find out you can't get in the door. Thinking about switching clinics due to this.
If you just need routine care that can wait weeks to months, then okay. But if you have an acute condition it is impossible to get into your PCP (even if established) or any specialist. The call center shows no empathy and the management obviously has no plan for acute or urgent needs. They send you off to urgent care who tells you to see your PCP or a specialist and, with a referral, you get to wait months. It was crazy. I would die waiting for help here. Luckily I found a specialist in Bellingham that is not associated with Peacehealth or the Skagit Regional system (which, by the way, is just as bad). Boy, our acute and urgent health care (except ophthalmology-they rule) in Skagit is really, really bad!
