Never had bad food from here, and the employees are always friendly. Really like the Carolina gold grilled cheese, and the fries chicken sandwich. Love looking to see what their specials are, and they change pretty frequently, but are always tasty, and the portion sizes are not smol
Love this place
Staff, menu, the way it is organized with cooking vessels hanging on high by the dozens, eager to serve. The menu is simple, and there are always specials. You can get something very satisfying and also health affirming. I often get the Banh Mi salad, and then something more indulgent. There are interesting sides and starters. While I have never enjoyed a beer there, I see 6 or so spigots on the wall in the pass between the kitchen and the dining room....

We got the fig leaf, rose, and thyme soda, which was absolutely delightful, plus fried cauliflower which had been pickled first, crispy fried jalapeños, and a grilled veggie and cheese sandwich, with basil pesto and tomato jam. All excellent.
