I've driven by the Rockaway for years without stopping by. My daughter suggested this for a girl's lunch and Mother's Day celebration. I'm impressed. The portion sizes are exceptional for the price. The Rockaway Bar & Grill sits beside a golf course on Camano Island and earns its place as a local institution. The bar draws a solid mix of regulars and golfers cooling off after a rough round, and the energy is easy and unpretentious. Staff are attentive without being overbearing and know their menu well.

Service was good, but food was mid. Menu is uninspired. Wife called the food “Golfer Slop” which seems about right.
