“Perfect place to grab a cold beer on a warm summer afternoon and watch the world go by. My friend and I stopped here returning to Duvall from running errands in Fall City. The folks working here are super friendly and we enjoyed a Pils and an English Ale.”

“Most every weekend, all year, Camlann serves dinner at the Bors Hede Inn. And it's a NICE dinner, and entirely on the medieval theme. You get served on bread trenchers, don't get a fork, and it's mostly stuff you'd get in the original town of Camlann: a bread appetizer, a fruit & cheese & salad course, a choice of meat. If you want a fermented drink (wine or ale or hard cider), that's extra. Dessert is also extra. A guy with a lute sang a short song about every half hour. He's also the only guy I saw serving/taking orders. There's a cap on the number of people they can serve, but we went with a party of six and that was good.
AND OH MY GOSH THE BREAD WAS SUPER GOOD. Like, I took the leftover trencher home and planned a meal around leftover bread.
This is now on my list of things to do with guests as a fun outing. It's about $35 per person before fermented drink and dessert. It's cash or check only. Reservation required...you have to call their number and leave a message to get on their list, then they'll call you back. It's a weird way to set a reservation, but I guess that's how they did it in medieval times.”

“I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! its so cozy and the pizza is great!! and ive been to italy so i can say this. the crust is really fluffy and crunchy, the sauce tastes fresh and there's lots of options for different tastes. Also they are very generous--my slice was like half of a pizza. YUMMY!!!! also theres prize machines in the corners that are very unique, i have never seen a pokemon card machine before. I highly recommend if you want to have a good time eating some pizza in a cutely refurbished garage <3”

“We had the crab ravioli and wild boar. I have been searching for the perfect pappardelle. Found it. We were fighting over whose entree was the best! Service, atmosphere, everything was beyond amazing! We were surprised at the extremely special touches for our occasion. We had been wanting to go for so long but for us it’s a jaunt with our schedules. So we planned our whole anniversary around the Montalcino and its sister restaurant Vivi. (Separate review) The Falls and other fun things were a bonus! Definitely worth the hotel and drive! It wouldn’t let me post the pics 😢”

“Obsessed with their prawn papaya salad. Initially it might seem pricey, but once you get it and see how many prawns they put in plus the quality, size, and freshness of the prawns and the perfect texture of the papaya and cherry tomatoes, it is very fairly valued. I've ordered the BBQ sticky rice, pad thai, and mango sticky rice in the past and everything was always super flavorful. Flavors here are also a lot more intense, rich, and feel authentic to Southeast Asia more so than at comparable Thai restaurants on the East Side, which can sometimes feel a bit like Americanized Thai. Also love their premium thai tea!”

“Chicken and ribs with meat so tender it falls off the bones. Baked beans with a rich, developed flavor. Pepper Jack mac & cheese that is gooey and has a bit of spiciness. Food service so fast the order is coming out before you’ve finished paying. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff, room to move around the dining area, and clean bathrooms.”

“Levant Café is a delightful, rustic French-Levantine-Turkish gem nestled in Issaquah’s historic Gilman Village, conveniently near I-90 for easy access.
This charming café, run by a lovely Syrian couple, exudes warm hospitality and a unique ambiance. The space features colorful couches, Turkish-inspired décor, high ceilings with skylights, an open kitchen, and cozy outdoor seating perfect for summer relaxation. It’s an ideal spot to unwind and soak in the lazy, tranquil vibes.
The menu is fully halal and offers a delightful mix of flavors. Their standout item is the Savory Shawarma Crepes, a fusion of French and Levantine cuisines.
Other options include:
French sweet Crepes
Middle Eastern Platters
Healthy Smoothies
Turkish Coffee
Baklava and Turkish Delights
Each season brings its charm here—whether it’s basking in the sun during summer or enjoying cozy vibes in winter and spring.
What I tried:
Falafel Crepe: Absolutely delicious!
Beef Crepe: Tasty but slightly dry.
Nutella Crepe: Classic and satisfying.
Green Juice: Healthy and refreshing.
Prices are on the steeper side, which brings it to a 4-star experience for me. However, the serene ambiance and unique fusion menu make this a must-visit café that’s perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. Don’t miss it!”

“Last year when I was seeking options as a wedding venue I came across Alveare Winery as an option. I was delighted by winery, and for more than just my wedding (which was fantastic). Samantha and Xander, the winery owners are personable and fantastic people to talk to and hear their story. Their wine is all excellent and the winery beautiful (perfect for a wedding). Ultimately Samantha, assisted by Amy, one of the winery staff, were the day of coordinators for my wedding and helped everything run smoothly. Our wedding couldn't have been more perfect. I looked forward to going back many times in the future for wine tasting and possibly experiencing some of the delightful experiences they host there throughout the year as well.”
