They were out of meatballs so I ordered a pizza. They said it would take 25 minutes. I sat in the restaurant for 45-50 mins while they served several families ahead of me. Only got my pizza when I went back to the counter, they pretty much forgot about me. Gave them 15% tip when I ordered too, maybe it was an off evening but definitely had a bad experience

Edit: bumping it up to 3 stars, it was not a good experience but I get that they can have an off night. Was pretty hangry when I posted too

Lovely traditional diner set up. The perfect ice cream to waffle cone ratio. Will deffinatly be coming back and will probably try some of the pizza too.

Always fun to stop by and pick up a slice of pizza here. Portions are big, the price is very reasonable and the pizza is delicious! We usually get our pizza to go but it's also fun to dine in and see all the pictures on the walls

Love this place. It still has that old school charm that you only get from a community full of love. Service is a little slow, but most of us don't mind because that's kind of the point. And the wait is 100% worth it.

After frequenting multiple times over the last two years and trying as many of the options from the menu as we can, I am willing to say confidently from grinders to homestyle pies, nothing misses here. But I will warn you they are HOMESTYLE pies. So the crust is soft and bready and I suspect similar to the grinder bread. They are somewhat lighter fare.
They're not exactly the same as greasy, yeasty poofed traditional American pizzas like what you get from Red Pepper down the road. So be warned, they are good in their own way, but may not be what you're expecting as far as pizza goes.

However we don't mind this and for what they're worth they are delicious in their own way.

Service is.. Interesting, they do have a lot of younger and teenaged age people working there. So I think they can be a little standoffish at first, as teenagers are, but if you get to know them I suspect they're nice kids. The older adults who we see from time to time seem really nice and friendly.

Best pizza in town. Inside has some booths and a table to sit at. They do pizza by the slice or made to order.

I always stop at Blake’s on my way through the valley. The grinders are top notch for lunch - pizzano or a Blake’s with jalapeños. I appreciate that the owners are working hard to preserve a valley institution - Blake’s feels like a well loved community spot when you walk in. Super kid-friendly and inviting.

Blake’s was, is and will forever be my fav pizza place! Something about that cheese pizza is just so goooood. Not to mention their grinders are top notch. Staff is always soooo welcoming and friendly! PS you HAVE to get their chicken Caesar salad with parmesan AND feta, it’s life changing, they have the BEST Caesar salad dressing(you can’t find that ish at the store)!
