“I'm so glad we checked out Big Block brewing while we camped in the nearby County Park. We enjoyed a wide variety of beers in one, five beer flight. To top off the delicious beers, we enjoyed listening to the brewery's origin story from the daughter of the owner, who was working that day. Look it up, it is a great story. The Session IPA and Mosaic IPA really stood out to me and my bride loved the Black Ale. This was well worth the visit.”

“This restaurant is not for everyone... just those that like great food, prepared and cooked well, and served simply yet tastefully. The service is not for everyone, either... just those that don't mind personal attention, a story or history, and an ambiance dictated by your neighbors and yourself, with occasional inputs from the minstrel (who also may happen to be your host, and your server, depending on what time of year you go). In short, this is a fun experience if you choose to make it one... for the price, the food and the serving sizes are fantastic! But don't expect big screen televisions, an arcade, or Dance Dance Revolution... this is a restaurant where time moves at a reasonable and relaxed pace, without much distraction. Unless you invite it.”

“Stopped by on the 4th of July after the parade for some slices of pizza. They were extremely efficient. Short line and slices were ready almost instantly! My group dropped a slice right at the counter and they replaced it immediately even though it was our fault. Great service today and the pizza was delicious! Thank you!”

Unfortunately, we couldn’t experience the sit down service because we came 15 minutes before closing, but they were nice enough to still service us to go. We really appreciate that.”

“My wife and I went for the brunch and the next weekend went for the brunch again and brought people with us. I expect this trend will continue. Get in before the lines start. The eggs benedict is spectacular. The service is casual and effective. Did I mention the eggs benedict? Irish style, with rashers. Worth the second mention.

“This place offers a rare Latin breakfast menu item called Migas and oh man is it good. The wait staff are all friendly and your cup is never empty. The atmosphere is like a cozy small diner/family kitchen and it is relaxing and laid back. And as a rare tea drinker, I can say that while they charge the same as other places for tea, they serve super high quality English breakfast tea, which was delightful. I AM SO GLAD THEY ARE BACK in Issaquah!!”
