For $40 we got a multi-course meal with the staff all in character and live music, in a beautiful setting with unique and delicious food. This would have been a real treat at thrice the price, and even driving 4 hours felt well worth it.
Most every weekend, all year, Camlann serves dinner at the Bors Hede Inn. And it's a NICE dinner, and entirely on the medieval theme. You get served on bread trenchers, don't get a fork, and it's mostly stuff you'd get in the original town of Camlann: a bread appetizer, a fruit & cheese & salad course, a choice of meat. You have to go there and try the food, it's delicious: the main course, the drinks and the apple dessert. Plus the atmosphere is like you've traveled in a time machine! I love this place!
