Went there for a relaxing stop as we were in the area. Showed up, and there was a diesel tractor running and a gas powered pressure washer right adjacent to the seating area. It was so loud that I wasn't able to hold a conversation with my wife 1 ft away. Not exactly a welcoming and relaxing ambiance.
A can't miss place! Beautiful setting with amazing staff and delicious wines!
Fantastic
Our family recently visited Alveare Winery, located in Carnation, Washington, just 35 minutes away from Seattle. We went there to celebrate Mother's Day and had a great time. Alveare Winery is a family-owned property boasting stunningly landscaped grounds. The name Alveare, which means beehive in Latin, is inspired by one of the owners' passions for beekeeping. We enjoyed the visit so much that we plan to come back often.
Alveare Winery produces high-quality wines using traditional techniques. It partners with high-elevation vineyards for unique and complex flavors. Its wines reflect the terroir of the Pacific Northwest and offer reds, whites, and rosés. Visitors can enjoy a wine tasting or purchase wine directly from the winery. The winery takes pride in its Bordeaux-style wines, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Syrah.
Their Cabernet Franc has won numerous awards, and we particularly enjoyed it during our wine tasting. We enjoyed it so much that we bought several bottles and a four-pack of their Huckleberry Hard Cider. During our Mother's Day dinner, we opened the Cabernet Franc, which was fantastic with a steak dinner.
The winery has indoor and outdoor areas for visitors. It is children-friendly, with lots of room to run. Chalk is provided for children to draw on a designated area on the concrete. The grapes come from central Washington vineyards, but the juicing and wine-making all occur here on the Carnation property. At the winery, they also sell their delicious honey from their own beehives. Highly recommend a visit.
We had an amazing experience here. We came during the Super Bowl and the owners were having a Super Bowl party with family and friends, but they made sure that we were having a good time and felt included. Went home with three Cabernet and Bee & Barrel.
Amazing little winery. Beautiful cellar door, stunning wines and magnificent hospitality. Looking forward to trying the wines back in Australia!!
This is a local gem. Award-winning, delicious wines and a beautiful surround with lovely winemakers and hosts.
Every wine I've had from here is great! It's a nice place to hang in the Snoqualmie Valley to drink and pickup wine. Kid friendly if you have to bring em. I try not to though haha. Bring your own food but they have events too with food.
We recently had our wedding at Orenda and cannot recommend it enough. The grounds are beautiful and give enough space for people to mingle and relax. The owners, Sam and Xander, are so kind, helpful, and communicative. They made the wedding planning process so much easier than I think it would be otherwise. Our guests (and ourselves) loved their wine! I’m thankful we live nearby and can visit often as it is one of our favorite places. If you are looking for a venue space or just a lovely winery to visit, check them out!
Beautiful winery, outstanding staff

Absolutely lovely property with amazing wine and a family vibe that is difficult to find anywhere else. The cab franc is incredible and worth the trip.
All of their wines are really good, especially the "balance" red blend. Really nice covered area for wine tasting. Lots of space for kids to run around outside and friendly farm animals to visit. Dog friendly.
The location has an agricultural history that has been infused with fresh energy from enthusiastic young winemakers and a new pavilion. The hosts/ owners are knowledgeable and genuine, and the wine is delicious. A great place to spend an hour or so.
Stunning location! Reminds me of stumbling upon a winery in the south of France or somewhere in Germany. Stress the tasting room manager treated my girlfriend and I as if we have been coming there for years, we will! Oh and the wine is excellent!
Delightful winery in a somewhat surprising location just outside of Carnation. We drank a bottle of the Cab Franc at a restaurant in Duvall on Friday and decided to drop in here on our way home from walking the dogs this afternoon. Shannon and her little helper Emily, looked after us very well. We enjoyed some Riesling, Merlot, Cab Sauvignon, Shannon's favorite "Balance" (a blend) and, of course, the Cab Franc. Not too busy and not too big for a late Sunday afternoon spontaneous wine-tasting. Recommended!
