Used to float down this river with some of my friends who trained as river guides even though it scared me. Then we'd all go to this place to get burritos and I'm from Texas so I was a little skeptical but that burrito is THE burrito. Back in 2019 at least.
Not a traditional, old-school Mexican restaurant, you order the front like fast food, men sit down. It’s super reasonably priced, the salsa and guac are among the best I’ve ever had here or Mexico, portions are huge, super amazing. The staff was fast and polite, the bathroom circling, and the place is clean. We were on our way from Leavenworth to Wenatchee and I guarantee you this place is worth a stop!

The experience with the new ownership is quite disappointing compared to what Chavo's used to be. Yes, changes can be expected when a business is sold. However, the food and salsas taste much more bland and are now 25% more expensive. Instead of a taqueria vibe, it feels much more like a sit down restaurant.
