The chicken teriyaki was good but the chicken katsu was overcooked and almost burned.

Alright, Centralia. If I'm writing a review about a place, you know it must be bad! As a local of Centralia, I can confidently say that this teriyaki restaurant is by far the worst. I ordered a chicken bowl and received cold, raw chicken along with potentially harmful substances. When I returned to request a refund, I informed the cashier about the chicken, and she immediately grabbed my plate without even looking at it, threw it in the garbage, gave me my money back, and never once apologized for the terrible food I received. The owner watched and never said a word! Do better!

Stopped by for quick takeout on our way to visit family and it only took 10 minutes for two really good sushi rolls. I got a Spicy California roll and one other roll that I forgot but I believe was one of their specialty ones. Loved them, will be thinking about those rolls for weeks.

(Pictured are the rolls halfway through me eating them)

Random family stop turned into a family FAVORITE! If you're in the area, stop by. BIG MENU. We had the teriyaki chicken and pork. SAY YES!

I am a teriyaki expert.

I ordered 3 teriyaki chicken and 1 beef yakisoba. The chicken was trimmed and cooked juicy. Rice was cooked as it should be. On the other hand, the beef was so chewy I couldn't even eat it. As a business, especially teriyaki, you should master cooking chicken and beef. If you can't, people won't order the beef, especially for the price $16/plate. Overall, the people here are very nice and respectful to their customers. The place is clean!

$69
3 teriyaki chicken
I beef yakisoba
3 drinks
The serving size seemed very small for $16/plate

For my daughter’s 16 birthday she wanted sushi. When I ordered I asked if they could combine the rolls so we could serve them to guests. If you look at the pictures, they included happy birthday and made it so beautiful that I am almost not looking forward to serving it. We ordered other things that were all packaged ready to serve. They made a special moment even more memorable. The food is the highest quality sushi/teriyaki in this area by far.

Parking: Easy

Kid-friendliness: Pictures were for a 16 year old birthday party. Definition of kid friendly.

Fantastic teriyaki. We had chicken, pork, and beef and they were all great. Plates served with rice and salad. Sauce was very very good. It took a little while for our food...but we did order in the quiet part of the mid afternoon. And the taste more than made up for the wait. Go!

Parking: Tons of parking. It's in a strip mall. Park along the building or in the lot.

Kid-friendliness: Handful of kid size portions of teriyaki and such on the menu. Also had some cool kids training chopsticks for sale at the register.

The owners are very kind, greeted us as soon as we walked in and backed off so we could have some time to look at the menu, not pushy at all. In the middle of ordering a mobile order was called in, the woman taking our order apologized for interrupting but it wasn’t a big deal at all, she was so sweet and it seems like she was multitasking due to seemingly small staff. My boyfriend ordered the orange chicken with fried rice, and I the kids teriyaki chicken bowl, with melon milk tea and boba. The food was phenomenal, considering it wasn’t super expensive and the portions were plentiful. The milk tea itself was a 10/10, although I think it is worth noting to those of you who are picky the boba did not taste fresh made, rather like the packets you buy and heat up; which is fine! I could be wrong, I didn’t ask. I wish we could have tipped more, this place has so much potential, I think that if they were able to clean up the outside of the restaurant people would be less intimidated and give it try! Definitely coming back to try their sushi and yakisoba, as well as the many other items they serve :)
