“I was one of the original beer tenders at this tap house. There were a lot of growing pains, a lot of hardship and camaraderie to make it work. That was then, now it looks like the beers are still cold and delicious, they've got cocktails (Which was a controversial take at the time, but it looks like they went high end with em which is awesome) and even though they took my favorite bratwurst off the food menu, I must say, their chef has his ducks in a row and the food is absolutely a must have for foodies in the area. Bravo, Juice Box. You're killing it.”

“Found this place about 6 years ago while attending some classes at Centralia college and I wish I would have known about it earlier. Absolutely the best tacos I've ever had. They have the best tortillas, I believe they're homemade. I'll make trips from Olympia just to eat here. Family owned and ran. The nicest people.”

“Not many places around here with good bbq so Big T BBQ is very loved and appreciated! Great fries, sauces, and brisket. When the weather is nice they have picnic tables too! The food is always so good and filling and the workers are nice. Kat in particular really is the kindest and spreads good vibes :)”

“I drove through the horrible town of Centralia, WA feeling disgusted after seeing the inside of the nearest Walmart so I was naturally scared of any local food. However Fuji Teriyaki was probably the best restaurant I’ve been to in a while. The service was fantastic and they had great vegan options :) my food came out super hot. Also love how there is a drive through!”

“I really needed caffeine on the drive from Tacoma to Vancouver, so I chose this spot based on proximity to I-5. I was pleasantly surprised by the price and how quickly my drink was made! The women working were super friendly, but didn’t pry with questions like they do at Dutch Bros. Unfortunately I forgot to snap a picture, but their oat milk matcha latte was pretty good! I’m a matcha snob who gets it from specialty cafes, so obviously I didn’t find it mind blowing, but it really hit the spot in a pinch. They signed me up for points, so this is likely to be my new spot for these long trips.”

“A fantastic experience! Visiting the area and picked Bollywood for some vegan food. Vegan options were clearly marked on the menu. Probably the BEST aloo gobi I've ever had! Fresh, hot, cooked to order and with a perfect blend of spices. Hubby loved his chicken korma and kashmiri naan as well. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Will definitely return and try some other treasures!”

“Great stop to scratch your pupusa itch! I had the pupusa & street taco combo, both with chicken and added the carnalavera upgrade to the pupusa. Combo came with white rice w/ mixed veggies in it and pureed black beans. Horchata was the libation du jour. Less than $20, so quite reasonably priced.

Street taco with double mini corn tortillas was fair to good. Rice & black beans were passable to good. But the pupusa was off the hook flavorful!!! Outside was toasted & browned a bit so carried overtones of a pancake crustiness & flavor. The rest of the pupusa was tender & the fillings were on the mark for doneness & taste. The density of the masa gave it substance & heft. Easily one of the best pupusa I've ever had!

Super clean premises on my visit. Staff ladies were warm & inviting in a somewhat reserved manner. Vicky's is an easy candidate for a repeat visit.”

“Thank you Country Cousin for a wonderful experience yesterday. My date has diabetes and was holding on to the hostess podium to keep from falling when we were waiting for a table. I took her out to the door lobby so she could sit down for a while. The kindest server came out with a glass of orange juice and said: "Diabetes?" "Yeah, that's it" I said with my jaw on the floor as she gave it to my friend. She drank some of juice, recovered, and another kind young lady came out and told us she got us a table that was close. We sat down, enjoyed our awesomely yummy meal that was served by yet another kind gentleman and had the best time. Thank you Country Cousin, your cooks, servers, hosts/hostesses for just a... faith-in-humanity-restoring experience. Your service and kindness made a big difference to these two customers, and I'm sure you do for everyone else as well.”

“We always stop here as we travel up and down I-5 between Portland and Seattle. It’s a pitstop for our family and we love it. The food is always delicious and fresh. the bathrooms are almost always clean, and the staff are wonderful.”

“They apparently have a known problem with their hot drink lids. Before I was handed my coffee I observed the woman focusing on trying to secure the lid, and didn’t think much of it. So I took the 20 oz coffee and proceeded to drive off. Then the lid popped off almost immediately after leaving as I was accelerating onto Harrison Ave. The hot drink spilled all over my lap which was slightly painful & unpleasant. I returned to the stand to make the ladies working there aware of the fact that their lids don’t secure well. Once I began to notify them I was told that “they are aware of the issue and sometimes have to try a few different lids”. That did not happen when I was given my coffee, the woman made one attempt to secure a lid on the cup that clearly was barely on there. This is a negligent act to hand somebody a hot drink without properly securing the lid. I am disappointed with the lack of due diligence of the people working at this stand now. I am led to believe they were aware of an issue with lid fitment and they were just letting the problem continue rather trying to find a solution to the issue. They did offer me another coffee, however this I didn’t accept it as I was already plenty awake from spilling one on my lap. Hopefully they change their business practices, if your current supplier of cups and lids can’t make it work find another one. It’s unsafe to hand out hot drinks with poorly fitting lids. Also nobody wants to clean your coffee from their car interior.”

“This was a very fun and unique stay! We really loved the location. We always enjoy the McMenamins vibe and love getting our passport stamps! The room was small and didn't have a windows that opened (though we still loved the skylight!) So it was a bit stuffy/warm. We were able to get a small fan from the front desk, which was helpful. The beds were comfy, but the top bunk is high up and we didn't have a ladder! So just be prepared for that. Otherwise it was rad and we had a delightful time and would absolutely go back!”

“I am only in Centralia twice a year but this is my go to place there. It is surrounded by lots of junky restaurants (McD, etc.) but hidden back in there is the gem, always decent food and reasonable prices, staff is reasonable friendly. You can get Teriyaki any place so I always so for the Sushi. Their Facebook page is crap as is Facebook itself with dead links, a few useless reviews, etc. Facebook is dying format buy I digress. You can not go wrong with their Hawaiian Roll ($13.99) plenty for one, the topping are nicely balanced and go well with the ginger but skip the Wasabi with this choice since the ginger works MUCH better. It is over by the highway but worth going to even if on the cheap side of the road. It is a great lunch or early dinner or even a late night food pickup place. I usually just get the glass of water and maybe something for the road. I skip down to the Special Rolls. Teriyaki is a common and a coffee place but the college students do not care so they serve is too. Not sure of related to one in Portland but probably, Portland has lots of options so I have never been to that one but as long as this one is around I will stop by. If I lived in town I might stop by but where I live Big Fish is the place to go. It is more of a true Sushi place with too much spicy mayo and Wasabi that is not for me. I like my palette undamaged, never trust a chef who smoke or uses commercial truffle oil which is chemicals and not real. The sushi rolls are pre-made, or rolled fast, but the toppings are made to order so service is fast. Their web site is really bad but the food is tasty with the proper textures. They serve chopsticks but that is legit for Sushi unlike Teriyaki. They provide a side bowl for chopsticks so you do not have to rudely place them on the plate when done. I usually dine is just to relax a bit but they do substantial take out orders for most local sales. Do NOT do delivery, their web site is crap. I was in Dallas over year ago, and it is great town to order delivered food of all kinds, not Centralia. PS - Dallas has bad hotels.”

Girls were very friendly, inside beautiful, bright white brass very nice and open. Outside, thought it was dark inside..nope.

The chips one time made me sick I think they had too much oil on them. the burritos and the carne asada fries are pretty good could use more seasoning but overall I liked it. the customer service was just as expected. very average mexican restraunt experience.”
