Very cute spot, Its great for rainy days when you can't take your kid to the park. The space is clean and I like the toy variety. There's a play area for under 7 year olds and an area for under 2 year olds.
This has no bearing on the review of the place, but I have become more reluctant to go with my 1 year old because there are some parents who do not supervise their children like they should. I think because its a cafe atmosphere, parents are more relaxed, socializing or doing work, and not watching their kids when they are playing. This is made worse by the variety of age groups in one place.
I would still recommend this place overall, but keep this in mind when going.

Great place for kids to play but spendy. We were only there for an hour and still had to pay full price about $10 per kid. Won't be going back unless we have a few hours to spend or maybe a birthday party.

This play cafe is amazing! I have never felt more comfortable at a play cafe before! They have so many different things for the kids to play on and they have a little baby section even. But the part freedom for the kids. (Yet still contained I have a runner. ) I have been to other play cafes where you felt the need to organize after your children left a certain area. All the parents are worried about how big of mess their children are going to be making. Here the kids play and no one is circling over them and they are all having fun! I live over an hour away but we spent 2 hours playing and we will be back soon !

This place is overall really nice, I really appreciated the changing station being next to the soft play area. The only downed aspect for me was the stroller. I had such a hard time first I got there and I realized that the place was on the second floor, and then there was an elevator which we couldn’t get the stroller in, parking was a little confusing but overall once we were inside, we really enjoy our time. I will recommend if you have small children plan your visit and make sure that you leave your stroller in the car cause the space to put the stroller downstairs It’s also kind of small.

Tara and Andy were absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to help me set up a Nightmare Before Christmas themed birthday party in their event space. They were so accommodating and always available to answer my questions. They provided extra plates when I needed them, checked in often to make sure everything was going smoothly, helped with cleanup, and made sure the play area was clean and ready for the children. The kids had an absolute blast, and they made the whole event completely stress free for me. I only wish the party could have been longer than two hours because it felt a little rushed since everyone was having so much fun. I can’t wait to come back next year. Thank you both for making the party such a wonderful and memorable experience!

Came here with some friends visiting out of time with our children & Lisa was so nice! Then whenever she realized that I forgot some of my son’s toys there, she called me & thankfully I was able to go & get them on the way home! Highly recommend going there to get some energy out of the kiddos in a safe place.

This place is AMAZING!!! Came here with my mom and my three kiddos today and it’s every parents dream. Super friendly and helpful staff, every accommodation for children you can think of (child menu, a railing small of enough for kids to get up and down the stairs, and a fully stocked changing table with every size diaper.) and the cutest play area I’ve ever seen. What a wonderful way to spend a day of vacation!!!

Mad Hatter Play Cafe is an iconic Centralia institution. I love that the children's play area has a small city with local businesses. The coffee is great and the owner is super nice. They thought of everything, so give yourself and your kids a break and come support Mad Hatter!
