Nice young lady taking orders. It seems to be tradition to yell at/honk at people waiting for their food as people drive by which was interesting lol (happened at least 4 times). The food is good old fashioned junk food like (delicious) milkshakes, burgers, fries, etc. It’s a little shack type place so expect to have a wait for your food. The food was cooked and prepared flawlessly. Even with the wait (maybe 30 minutes) we were happy with our order.
We ordered two shakes and they tasted really good. What really bothers me is that the person taking the order asks if we want to tip. My husband and I were stunned...like....this is a drive through. Are we going to start tipping McDonald's employees, too? Of course my husband feels pressured to tip....and we haven't even gotten our order yet. Who tips ahead of time? Tips should be based on service... And it also took a looooong time to get those two shakes, and we were...
For being on the side of the road, the food taste and quality was quite the pleasant surprise! They recommended a strawberry shake with cheesecake and it was INCREDIBLE! My daughter and I regretted passing on ordering something and demanded we turn around for another shake! It’s THAT good! The burger was messy, bun was a bit on the softer side and couldn’t contain its contents, but the patty was tasty and “homemade” quality with the smokey flavor of the grill- top tier!...
