We came as hungry travelers and left as changed men. I humbly ordered a short stack for 9 dollars. As a pancake fiend, I expected two average silver dollars to sit on my plate. However, Breakwater Diner exceeded my expectations. Two pancakes came out the size of my head. I do not know what batter was used, or what sorcery the chefs learned whip up such a delicacy, but they were exquisite. This ambience of this restaurant is like something just around the corner of your house. But it had some of the best views and food. The portion sizes are large and definitely shareable.

Small restaurant had good service and friendly servers. Was there for breakfast so can't address much about the food although the sausage links appeared to be a local product and were excellent, ordered a small breakfast and couldn't finish it. Pretty interesting atmosphere showed small fishing town roots and Cafe was right across road from the bay, excellent view.
