We were looking all over town at places to eat and we decided to eat at this one because of what they had on their menu. We live over an hour away so going out to eat is always a treat for us and we are really excited to try this place since we decided to eat here. We drove all the way to the restaurant and turns out they are take out and DoorDash only. Which really sucks and it wasn't posted anywhere so we just wasted a whole hour and a half drive to Clarkston to eat at this place we were really excited about just to be disappointed.

The food was alright. Noodles was a bit blan and got tired of it after the first few bites. Sweet and sour chicken was very crunchy and some of them was dry in the middle. I ordered strawberry milk tea and it came back in some sort of smoothie form. When I drank it, it was okay but it kinda felt like it left a residue on the roof of my mouth. Wouldn't really recommend this unless wanting to really try it. Workers was very nice though. Soup was very VERY greasy and couldn't even finish it.

Food was great. Walked in and immediately seated. Only complaint I would have is the bar us not yet open. According to staff they are working on that. Will definitely return

So so good. Went there for lunch today. Both the Pho and general tso were beyond good. Probably the very best I have ever had. Watch out for the spicy level. Lol. I had a level 1 out of 5 and it was still pretty hot. Will absolutely be back.

Have ordered takeout twice. The Shrimp Chow Mein was phenomenal, light ,flavorful and fresh and the shrimp was not overcooked as it frequently seems to be in the valley. My grandma said she prefers their almond chicken to others and was very pleased with her meal. Inside has been cleaned up and looked great. Very happy to have them open in the Valley and the young man who helped me on both occassions was great!

Best almond chicken my mom and I have had in 20 years. Love how the chicken is fried in small, crispy nuggets. Very fresh. Good quality food. Great service as well. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is a definite must if you love Chinese food as much as I do. Their house chow mean is great, egg rolls are a treat. The sweet and sour sauce are a perfect compliment to them as was the hot mustard and seeds. I had the almond chicken, which was very tasty. However my all time favorite was their Mongolian beef. Try it!! You will definitely thank me later. Portions were great, ended up taking about half my order home with me. I plan on taking it for lunch to work tomorrow. Service was great, very attentive, always made sure we had enough water and tea. One of the owners came out and checked and chatted with us to see how we were doing.Overall great experience. Definitely getting the Mongolian Beef next time, lol.

Phonix Mountain has changed to Emerald Gardens with new owners and is a SUPER good restaurant!! It's so clean and they are so nice. The egg drop soup is so good and I had General Tso's chicken and sweet and sour chicken and fried rice which is one meal. There was so much food and so tasty and the price was very good!! I recommend everyone try this restaurant. We will be back! ❤️Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options

Great food, awesome customer service! Almost forgot to take pictures as we were too excited to try these food. We ordered the special house fried rice, fried noodles, broccoli beef, and bokchoy with fried tofu. Everything tasted excellent and we will be repeat customers for sure!
