Hazel's Good Eats is one of the best dinners I have been to. Amazing and fun decor with a delicious menu of breakfast items, very kind and funny wait staff, and just an overall great experience. Love going here and everybody in the valley should definitely try them!

Once again great service. Also, who doesn't love a fun house mirror in the bathroom?

Friendly staff, quick service, great food. I ordered from the not-so-hungry menu. Perfect 2 egg omelette.

The food was really good. Hubby asked for a suggestion from the waitress and he was not disappointed with her pick. Atmosphere is fun and very family friendly. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area. I will definitely go back.

We used to live around the corner from Hazel’s and ate there more often than I care to admit. The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious! I miss our trips to Hazel’s a lot! Fun, eclectic atmosphere! My go-to was the Bacon Avocado omelette and my husband loved their biscuits and gravy and their strawberry or chocolate chip waffle!

The place.is amazing, the cook who does the eggs in the back is a guy we are all glad there was only one of him made. But he can cook an egg like no one else. Send a special $2 or $5 tip to the back, just to make sure you don't get to meet him.

“Scratch-made comfort food and small-town hospitality at its best”

Hazel’s Good Eats is one of those places that instantly feels like home the moment you walk through the door. The name says it all — it’s good eats in every sense. From the smell of fresh coffee and breakfast on the griddle to the cheerful chatter of regulars, it’s the kind of small-town diner experience that feels timeless.

I ordered breakfast here and couldn’t have been happier. The eggs were cooked exactly as ordered, the bacon crisp and full of flavor, and the hash browns had that perfect crunch without being greasy. The biscuits and gravy were phenomenal — creamy, peppery, and clearly made from scratch. Portions are generous, and every plate looks and tastes like it was cooked by someone who truly cares about the food leaving their kitchen.

Service is friendly, fast, and genuine. My server checked in just enough to keep my coffee full and make sure everything was spot on. Even during a busy morning rush, the team kept things moving smoothly with smiles all around.

The atmosphere ties it all together — cozy booths, local touches, and that easy pace that makes you want to linger just a little longer after finishing your meal.

If you’re anywhere near Clarkston, Hazel’s is a must-stop. It’s the kind of place that represents everything great about small-town dining — great food, kind people, and a sense of pride you can taste in every bite.

Hazel's was absolutely hopping when we went. There was a half hour wait, but it was totally worth it. The food was amazing, definitely the best country fried steak in the valley. Crispy, hot, smothered in gravy spiced to perfection.

The staff was friendly, and even though the place was packed we were made to feel like our waitress was never to busy to attend to us. She made jokes and quips, filled coffee at lightning speed, and made sure we were having a pleasant experience.

I would highly recommend this spot for breakfast.

Simply an AWESOME place!!! Best Breakfast in the Valley. I've been here dozens of times over the past 5 years and they never disappoint. Excellent Food and Servers. Friendly and Extremely effective. My goto is the Bite size, eggs, red potatoes and Cinnamon French Toast. The Hashbrowns and Chicken Fried Steak is Header too! My girl loves the Specialty seasoned shrimp omlet. Serving are Large and FILLING TOO!;)

There was a 15 to 20 minute wait which is not surprising for Hazel's on a weekend morning. We were told to go wait on the deck unfortunately there were no seats on the deck where we could sit for the 15 or 20 minutes. We left will try again some other day the food here is great and the service is usually exceptional
