⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
“Riverside dining with great food, friendly service, and unbeatable views”

The Quay is one of those spots that captures exactly what makes the Lewis-Clark Valley special — great people, great food, and a view that reminds you why life moves just a little slower (and better) here. Sitting right on the river, it’s the kind of place where you can relax over a meal and watch the water roll by, whether you’re there for brunch, dinner, or drinks at sunset.

The food is consistently solid. I ordered a burger and fries, and everything came out hot, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The bun was fresh, the patty juicy, and the fries had that ideal crisp. On another visit, I tried one of their seafood dishes, and it was even better — fresh, flavorful, and plated with care. Drinks were cold and well-mixed, with a solid beer and cocktail selection that fits the atmosphere.

Service has always been friendly and attentive. The staff are upbeat, quick to check in, and do a great job balancing the flow even when the restaurant is packed. The atmosphere is casual but elevated — clean space, great lighting, and that unbeatable river view right out the window.

Whether you’re visiting town or you’re a local looking for a place to unwind after work, The Quay is a go-to. Good food, great drinks, and the kind of relaxed Northwest charm that never gets old.

Jean was super courteous with me as a last minute customer right before closing time. She recommended the Chicken Alfredo which hit the spot just right. The place is very clean and she was working the entire bar and dinner service by herself. So kudos to her.

Great breakfast and lunch, with Fast friendly service too! The Cuban and chicken bacon ranch was delicious! Was pleasantly surprised by how nice a hotel restaurant can be!

We had breakfast two different mornings while staying at Holiday Inn. Our waitress, Rose, was an absolute delight. We would probably come back just to visit her! Wishing you the best, Rose!

Natalie has been our server a couple of times. The food, atmosphere and service is always great.

The Quay Restaurant was very clean, the food was excellent and in large proportions. The service was quick and very professional. Also, the early morning view of the Snake River was spectacular. Strongly recommend as the prices were moderate.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access inside the Hilton Inn.

i worked at quay for less then two weeks. i had numerous positive reviews. my wife came in to dine in my new establishment and she left 4 stars but unhappy with the food quality on her salmon. she had a right to leave a review that was absolutely positive, just salmon didnt hit her right, focally as well as tastefully...about an hour later i was revised to take down the post from a paying customer or lose my job. one week goes by and they terminated me with no reason. i hope this post hits those that aquire good hospitality. and how an establishment should be ran. i was told i was on thin ice, just because she had an opinion. then i was terminated with no reasoning. people steal, drink on the job, etc and i was judged for one thing that had nothing to do with my performance level. if you want to dine with a place in town, support local. not people who throw in the towel because they didnt like you from the beginning...they simply hired me to fire me. and im ready for the comments...my name is rachelle gill...and i stand by my level of passion for guests...and i stand alone, knowing what they did was wrong. this is the only place i have ever left a review on because i full heartedly believe it was vindictive, dishonest and you cant make change without a voice...and they taped my mouth shut and closed their ears...so here i am...screaming loud and proud. discrimination.

went in a week ago and the food was very low standards. I didn’t say anything because I don’t like writing reviews. Rachelle was our server and she was amazing. She really did try to accommodate without pushing me. I decided the service from her was exceptional so I tried again. The next time was worse than the first time. Is it really that difficult to make a steak? I just can’t comprehend how an establishment with poor food only gives out a free desert and nothing else. No sorry, no discount which I was never looking for. It was a plate off my table and hey here’s a free desert, thanks for the 30 dollars. I would suggest never going here and looking elsewhere.

Arrived with a friend Monday afternoon before closing and we had received very poor service. We were sat down and it took a very long time for out waiter to take our order, but when they finally showed up we were rushed into ordering. Once our order was finally taken, it took longer for our food to come out. By the time our food arrived it has been clearly sitting out for a long time since it was cold, yet also overcooked. While we were there, we also witnessed a waitress being suspicious and drinking what we assumed was alcohol on the clock. Very unprofessional setting, horrible experience overall, and food was awful for the high prices. I do not recommend!!!

Went in on Monday and got absolutely terrible service. Overcooked food, server was rude & rushed us to order. We were one of the end of the day tables and witnessed one of the waitresses drinking what appeared to be alcohol. Definitely do not go here if you want a good time.
