“Fresh, fast, and way better than your average drive-thru taco”
The Clarkston Taco Time is one of those rare fast-food spots that actually feels like a step above the rest. The food here tastes fresher, the service is friendlier, and everything — from the crisp tacos to the tater tots — comes out hot and well-prepared every time.
I ordered a crisp taco, a soft burrito, and a side of Mexi-Fries (because you can’t not), and everything was excellent. The tacos were packed perfectly — crunchy shell, fresh lettuce, and flavorful beef that wasn’t greasy. The burrito was wrapped tight and full of balanced flavor, and those Mexi-Fries were golden, crispy, and seasoned just right. It’s comfort food done right — simple, consistent, and satisfying.
The staff are friendly, efficient, and genuinely seem to care about the customer experience. Even in the middle of a rush, orders move quickly, and everyone stays upbeat. My food came out fast, fresh, and exactly as ordered — which says a lot about how well this place is managed.
The restaurant is clean and comfortable inside, and the drive-thru is one of the quickest in town. It’s clear they take pride in keeping the place running smoothly and the food quality high.
If you’re in Clarkston and want something quick that doesn’t taste mass-produced, Taco Time is the move. Fresh ingredients, friendly faces, and the kind of consistency that keeps you coming back.

I Enjoy taco time, Today the counter tops were full of food debris. The food made was not up to standards. My sausage, egg, hash brown burrito was loaded with sausage, one tater tot, the balance was not there. You can see in the photo it was a sausage lovers dream, I was pretty bummed cause I personally enjoyed the mix of it all.

Can I post a 10-star for the atmosphere here?! 🤩 I have heard about this specific Taco Time in Clarkston and how special it is. It did not disappoint. My partner, who grew up in Clarkston, told me how fancy and awesome it was. And yeah, it was. If it’s your first time, go inside if you want to see all the amazing plants and decor! Thanks, TT! 🌮
