Walking into this restaurant for my birthday felt special. A birthday card waited at our table, a small touch that lifted the mood. Then the night slowed to a crawl. Our server never mentioned the card, and despite being a table for two, our drinks did not arrive for 30 to 45 minutes. We finally had to remind her, which was uncomfortable; she apologized and went to check, but the moment for a birthday toast had already slipped away. She was pleasant, yet very slow, and yawned at the table more than once, which made the evening feel less cared for. The room is beautiful and the food was truly delicious. With better pacing and a little more attention, this would have been an easy five stars. If you are planning a celebration here, consider confirming service expectations so the experience matches the setting.

I have lived in Cle Elum for 35 years and have supported all the local restaurants and have never had an experience ever with the service we gad at the Orhard, we had reservations for 6:30 p.m and were not served for 2 hours mintues and my wife's meal never came. I will never ever eat in this establishment ever Good luck and I hope you can stay in business with this type of service

Absolutely outstanding dining experience at The Orchard in Cle Elum. I brought my family who was visiting from out of town, and everyone loved their experience. From the perfectly executed amuse-bouche to the memorable entree and indulgent dessert, every course was exceptional. The non-alcoholic cocktails were creative and delicious. The half chicken was cooked to perfection - juicy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Plus, the service was exceptional - and they accommodated our celiac guests! Highly recommend.

I regularly order large meals for work, and I've placed two 40+ item orders from Orchard over the past two months for major company events. Both times, Orchard delivered flawlessly. Walked in with my three hungry kids. Woman at the bar had a bad attitude and essentially kicked us out. I felt uncomfortable walking in and angry when I left. Would never return.

Came in last night with my brother-in-law, who I normally can’t stand but even he couldn’t mess this one up! We botch had the pork chop and nearly proposed to the chef. Taylor the bartender was sharp as a tack, sweet as pie, and kept our drinks full without us lifting a finger. The lounge setup gave the place a kind of charm you just don’t see anymore. And that French press coffee? I’d fight a bear and my brother-in-law for another cup.
