Great dinner with friends. Waitress had all the answers or she went and asked if she didn't. We had so many great options. The carrot cake was fabulous.Vegetarian options: Several good options. Roasted Cauliflower was great.

Now that the kitchen is back on line the menu offerings are great. The only thing that was off was the start of the construction. That threw things off but once we got settled in it was great.

was there for breakfast. My eggs benedict was served with a hard cooked egg. there was nothing runny in it at all. and my boyfriend's waffles were so soft and soggy. Did not enjoy.

Please invest in the food to justify such prices

I ordered miso salmon. Salmon is difficult to make wrong usually. The fish was warmed up before serving. It was dry and served with fresh rocket salad leaves which were warmed up as well. Rice was unsalted and there was no salt or paper on the table. Without any sauce. Same for my kiddos pasta with prawns: no sauce, no cheese at all for pasta. Very low quality of food for $50+ per person without drinks. Very disappointed. Not recommended.

We just went last night and loved the staff but were very disappointed in the quality of all of our food. We live in Suncaida and want to support going out and enjoying a nice dinner but this will be our last time. Our poke nachos were not good. A pile of nachos with a few pieces of tuna that were very low quality and they were expensive. Miso salmon was not very good. It seemed like they forgot the miso glaze and a small peice. The cauliflower was just fair and the mushroom risotto was also very average. This is an expensive restaurant with a very nice atmosphere but hard to return with below average food. I wish i could give good reviews. If one thing was below average I could understand, but everything was. Why are you spending all of this money on remodeling when you have below average food. Spend some money on a good chef and staff. I love your menus.2068181028

Food is not fresh they dont care about quality and service for a 4 star hotel this is not worth it at all, just a nice scenic view thats all you get at Suncadia !

XMas Eve dinner with a 7pm reservation so it was busy, but it seemed like they were properly staffed. We were seated pretty promptly and didn't have to wait much for water or bread. Even with all the staff/server assistants, however, we didn't get our cocktails until nearly an hour after they were ordered and checked on at least once or twice. They were delivered while we were eating our meals. The $75 ribeye was tough and cooked medium well when ordered medium rare and had zero seasonings or flavor. Guessing it sat under the heat lamp and cooked while waiting for the prep of our other meals? We returned it (and we NEVER return food), and were graciously credited for the meal. The salmon was also dry and overcooked, under seasoned and had no flavor, but I ate it anyway. My son enjoyed the roasted half chicken and subbed whipped potatoes for the lyonnaise potatoes. It looked really good. My other son said the ragu was ok but the ratio of noodles to sauce was way off, as he had a plate full of meat sauce long after the noodles were gone. The burrata was a bit rubbery. The ahi nachos were the saving grace and absolute best part of the meal, so we ordered a second round. The second round was much smaller than the first, as it was the last the kitchen had to offer yet we were charged full price. They forgot to season the avocado like the first, but waiting on any salt /pepper would've been too much effort. Server was great until he was clearly far too busy and took forever to get us our check and then I had to track him down to take it. Meanwhile, there were other server's assistants/bussers/efc standing around. Fortunately I found enough cash between the three of us or it would've been another 20 minutes to wait for our check to be processed. At these prices, with the beautiful restaurant and surroundings, we expected at least a very good experience. The slower service would've been totally tolerable if the food was better, but it wasn't so we will not return.

Lovely Christmas ambience, fire places, butter in the shape of a Christmas wreath to go with bread bowl, skirt steak delicious w asparagus & mashed potatoes! Kid friendly, spacious, there is a kids menu. Generous portions. Hand crafted cocktails very good quality ! Waiters there are very caring & high attention to detail. Feels like a cozy ski lodge. ❄️❤️❄️

We had a great dinner at Portals during our stay at Suncadia. We were there on a Tuesday and it was the only restaurant open due to it being pretty quiet up there. I was worried the service and food may suffer because of that, but both were excellent! We also ate lunch in the bar that day because the restaurant wasn't open for lunch and it was really good as well!

In a party of 4, two of us didn't eat our inedible breakfasts. Our server was nice and took the items off the bill; nonetheless, it was awful. As we left the restaurant, we saw a number of very full plates at tables where the diners had left. I wish I would have noticed that as we entered the restaurant!

Poor service. 15-20 minutes between waiter visits. The first meal I ordered was cold and sad...and $55. I sent it back and 20 mins later received a replacement. Slow and unsatisfying way to celebrate and spend top dollar.

We celebrated our one year wedding anniversary at Suncadia and had dinner at Portals. We let them know when we made reservations we were celebrating our anniversary and they sat us at a table with a great view. Our waitress Sandy was wonderful and made me a delicious mocktail. The food was good; the truffle fries and apple tart dessert were the best. Would recommend for a romantic dinner.

Nice place. The view was awesome, and the food was very good. All of the choices seemed to be healthy options. I had the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly. Would recommend, pricey but worth it!
