Went to dinner there Friday night with my husband and 2 friends. We seated ourselves on the rooftop. Great view, good ambiance, great decor. We spent well over $150 and yet they gave us plastic forks to eat with. Very cheesy and cheap. We were told the owner doesn’t like to have actual silverware in the rooftop dining area. Crab cakes were good. Menu is dodgy though: alligator, and very spicy food. Slow service, no lighting at night - we used our cellphones to see our plates. Ordered a gin n’ tonic and was given gin and club soda. None of us would go back.

Brisket and cheddar sandwich wasn't edible and the speakers were up so loud you couldn't have a conversation.

Family ordered out, so can’t speak to the service and interior.
- bbq can be small portions, but whoever was behind the counter was very stingy on pulled pork. I would say less than 10g of protein for a whole sandwich
- brisket had zero pink rings and was over cooked (aju was good tho)
- Mac and cheese super orange, was fine
- cole slaw lacked any sauce or flavor… texture was limp
- bbq sauce great
Not trying to be too harsh, just being honest. Visitors from Kansas City, Spokane, and Portland all were very disappointed.
Unless owner responds to this, I would avoid takeout at all costs.

I ordered a smoked turkey sandwich and it had great flavor and moisture level. My friend got the crab muffin and he loved it. We also got a root beer float and chips that both hit the spot perfectly. Their courtyard is really nice and the yard games were a great touch with fun background music (it also is apparently dog friendly). It was counter service, but that seems appropriate for the venue and the people were really nice and helpful. I wish I had found this place sooner.

Staff was so friendly, attentive and happy. Studebaker Alley is connected to Gourdeaux next door. Studebaker alley is order at the window and find a table (inside or out) which is great. We opted to sit inside Gourdeaux though so we could order fries (with a jalapeño ranch and a remoulade for dipping - yum!) and a beer. I didn’t take a photo soon enough! We ordered the Brisket cheddar dip and the fancy PBJ - soooo good! Re-Opened 4 months ago after a revamp by the owners according to staff I wish you luck and much success!

I was excited to try the fried chicken sandwich but it appears they recently changed their menu. When we visited, they offered pulled turkey, pork or brisket sandwiches, but were out of the brisket. Ok, so pulled pork it is. The sandwiches were beyond sad, just a bit of meat and buns. We got a couple sides which tasted fine but nothing worth writing home about. I should have taken photos, it was just all around disappointing. Also they didn't have water available, the only option was to buy a bottle, they don't provide extra napkins, and the bathroom was locked. I regretted trying this place.

Waited 45 minutes for an extremely dry, flavorless, and cold sandwich… i honestly feel like I should have been paid to attempt to eat that monstrosity

Came here after seeing a decent rating and after coming I have zero clue how they’re at this high of an average. I had to ask for a refund which I never do because the food was honestly inedible. It came out cold and after asking to reheat it somehow came out even colder (plus it was super dry). Nothing is fresh but just sitting in bins waiting for folks to order. Don’t believe the 5 star reviews go anywhere else.

Grate service ! Aswell as amazing food !
Trinity and Hannah did an amazing job. Absolutely loved it!!
I got the chopped brisket sandwich with a side of loaded potato salad, hands down the potato salad was the best I’ve had from a restaurant in a long time.
Service was good.
Food on the other hand...
Coleslaw, both on the sandwich and as a side was waterery and limp. Potato salad just wasn't good, the meat was half fat. And where is the bbq sauce? None on the sandwich, on the side or with the dinner plate. Pork ribs where dry to.
I was really hoping for a good bbq place in Cle Elum.
I was at the grand opening and the band was an amazing touch to the Texas Barbecue. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was really fast especially for the quality of the food. I highly recommend Studebaker to anyone looking for a unique but delightful experience.

The hot Nashville chicken sandwich was good. Tasty dry rub and big portions for a reasonable price. It did take over 40 minutes for our food to come out in a restaurant with only 2 other tables though.
