We stayed in a koa dry cabin for one night. Full size on top of queen bunk bed. Inside the cabin was a mini fridge (and freezer compartment) with microwave, enough outlets for electronics, an ac/heat mini-split, and a dining table/bench set for 5 or 6. Everything was in good order. The bathroom is a 3 min walk, clean and with showers. View of the water right outside and we saw 4 deer grazing next to our cabin at night. I definitely recommend. Also, don't take lone hollow road, it's all gravel. Take the almota road, if you are coming from the west.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!We delivered our trailer to this koa last Friday, we were instructed by our renters to use space 20 or 21 as that is what they had reserved. Upon arrival we saw several employees on golf carts pass-by the site we were setting up for our renters, no one said anything to us. Check in is typically 3pm and we were there at 12:30pm as an early check in was arranged so had their have been any changes one would think the employees would have stopped to notify us that we needed to relocate. Today we went to pickup our trailer and were notified by the renters that our trailer was moved by management/the owners of the koa. I attempted to call the koa however it stated they are closed on Mondays. As we were getting ready to leave the koa the owner (as he identified himself) told us that we need to check in next time we come here because we were in the wrong site. We told him he parked where we were instructed to park by our renters and that he had no right or authority to move our trailer without our permission and that he would be held liable for any damages to the trailer. He then stated that we would be getting a bill and that we were on federal property. This man is a lunatic, the site he insisted to move our trailer to was no different than the site it was parked in-this was an easy fix to swap someone but instead he took it upon himself to move someone else’s trailer and then act like a complete prick about it. We’ve never had such a negative experience in all of our travels across the country to Rv parks. Incredibly disappointed in the owner/management of this place. We will not be back!

Had a mishap landing on the runway. The host at the camp came and helped us carry the tail as we pushed it a safe tie down. He was extremely kind, helpful, and it was greatly appreciated and needed. We were stranded until after dark. He made sure we were safe and had water. Thank you!!!!NOTE. There are large rocks on the runway which can damage planes. Snapped the spring in our tail wheel.

We stayed here in our RV great location right on the river. We watched boat's go by and had a great time on the paths riding our bikes. The facility Manager Squirrel came and fixed my bike flat tire free of charge. Spot 32 is the best place to stay no neighbors in front of you and great view of the river.

Beautiful setting, however thats were it stops. Loud neighbors, cigarette smoke everywhere and razors racing up and down the road was our experience.Sites offer zero privacy and back up to the access road so you experience road noise.Sites are also tight so when both sides of the driveway are full, your turning while backing is extremely reduced.Lots of young kids so crying and screaming was our everyday experience. We weren't able to get our site number in advance which was a bit frustrating. We were camping with friends who ended up in a completely different section of the park, while we had an empty site next to us. Several dogs where off leash in two different sections of the park.Garbage at our site was full all day Friday thru Saturday night with bags stacked on the ground. The deer are nice to see but we were told to watch of for rattle snakes. For 70 bucks a day there are better options to choose from.Update:Cornhole party until almost 1230am.Neighbors campsite had beer cans all overReported the issue to a staff member who absolutely didn't care about the party.Very frustrating experience

Based on my experience I would not consider this a Koa Holiday. Also, it is extremely hot there. It would be a nice spot to camp if you have a boat though.

Very pleasant stay at the RV park last week. Beautiful setting along the Snake River. Nice, clean RV sites. Lovely walking path along the river. Scenery was wonderful. Appreciated all the trees and shade at the site. Will be visiting again!

We love the location and the 1.5 hour drive from home. Even though we didn't eat in the restaurant, the food smelled great. Staff was super friendly and the park was clean. Great place for short bike rides and definitely appreciated the rattlesnake habitat warning sign. Nice short trail to see the dam. Our only complaint for our sites #26 & #27, the sprinklers hit our trailers and water filled the potholes in our parking spots. My husband had to stand in 3 inches of water to hitch up.our trailer to leave. We plan to return with our boat next time. Finally, so fun to watch the barges and cruise lines go by the campground.

This place is absolutely amazing... Right on the Snake River. We've been coming here for many years.. with offering free hot showers.. and beautiful sights... Whether you are looking for full hookups.. partial hookups (electricity and water only).. tent camping or just for the day.. This KOA park has something to offer to everyone. It's family and pet friendly... And with only a hour and a half away from Spokane WA It's a quick and easy getaway for family fun or just for your own peace of mind! There's walking and bikes trails..an on sight reasonably priced store and only 20 minutes from Colfax if you need anything major!
