“Love this place, but the coffee is hit or miss... Sometimes it's great and sometimes it's garbage. Maybe more training to make the taste uniform through every barista?”
“We have really enjoyed los amigos. I go back and forth between the taco salad and chicken fajitas and both are very good. Have always been very nice when we have dined in or ordered to go.”
“We discovered their coffee while staying at The Potting Shed, an Airbnb in Colfax that provides the coffee for their guests. We liked it so much, we bought 3 lbs of it to take back to DC with us. it is flavorful and smooth, not charred or bitter like Seattle-style coffees [Starbucks?]. Like they've been sitting in a Bunn-burner carafe for hours.”
“Always friendly and they make wonderful food.We go in and have our lunch almost every Friday. friendly staff and always greet people with a smile. Even though you can see they are very bizzy. They are never short with their customers. Always courteous and kind.”
“Got some mixed froyo, and it tasted decent, but the texture seemed a bit off for froyo. It was good for the price. There's also really friendly people which was really nice!”
“I moved 2,000 miles away and haven’t had it for well over 15 years, but it was always with my grandparents (Howard & Dorothy Abbott). Since then I’ve eaten food from all over the US, from dives to high end establishments and there are very few places I’ve been that I actually CRAVE to taste a particular dish again. Yes, it’s Americanized and yes it is small town, but it’s memorable. I’ve have NEVER been able to find anything like your almond chicken, it is unlike any other. I would pay many times the actual price to experience it once again. If I am ever back in God’s country, it will be one of the first places I go. How many restaurants have something on their menu that you can say that about? Thank you Eddy and family for creating such a substantial impact in my life, I will be forever grateful. Ignore the food snobs and keep doing what you’ve done for years, making memories for so many of us with your delicious meals.”
“We stayed in a koa dry cabin for one night. Full size on top of queen bunk bed. Inside the cabin was a mini fridge (and freezer compartment) with microwave, enough outlets for electronics, an ac/heat mini-split, and a dining table/bench set for 5 or 6. Everything was in good order. The bathroom is a 3 min walk, clean and with showers. View of the water right outside and we saw 4 deer grazing next to our cabin at night. I definitely recommend. Also, don't take lone hollow road, it's all gravel. Take the almota road, if you are coming from the west.”
“My absolute favorite coffee shack in the Palouse! Really good coffee and very nice staff. Sometimes the wait can be kinda long compared to other coffee shacks, but its almost always worth it.”
“I love sandwiches but this place has high turnover, and the sandwiches you get are often highly inconsistent. I only order 3 different sandwiches some how they come out with different amounts of meat every time.”
“The Cod and fries are the best! Sooo good. No other Zip's location's is comparable to the one in Colfax, WA as far as the fish goes its so good I haven't tried anything else.”
“Not sure who delivered this evening.. but the pizza was delicious.. and the lil gal that took my order and delivered to me.. was the best experience in a long time. Thank you so much!”
“Went in for the first time and had a wonderful experience! Extremely friendly service and great food! The only thing I would change is the hours so that I could go more often.”
