Colfax is a small town serving an agricultural community. Eddy’s serves this population very well. Do not expect gourmet food or elaborate decor. Just down to earth food for hungry folks.

I moved 2,000 miles away and haven’t had it for well over 15 years, but it was always with my grandparents (Howard & Dorothy Abbott). Since then I’ve eaten food from all over the US, from dives to high end establishments and there are very few places I’ve been that I actually CRAVE to taste a particular dish again. Yes, it’s Americanized and yes it is small town, but it’s memorable. I’ve have NEVER been able to find anything like your almond chicken, it is unlike any other. I would pay many times the actual price to experience it once again. If I am ever back in God’s country, it will be one of the first places I go. How many restaurants have something on their menu that you can say that about? Thank you Eddy and family for creating such a substantial impact in my life, I will be forever grateful. Ignore the food snobs and keep doing what you’ve done for years, making memories for so many of us with your delicious meals.

Old school small town Chinese restaurant. Everything we had was good.
After a football game against Colfax, we had seven hungry kids. We stopped and had the worst Chinese food we have ever had. We all ordered the 5 number 5s on the menu. A number 2 and a number 4. After about 30 minutes, the waiter came by and told us the ran out of the ribs, and only had enough for 2 number 5s. They also ran out of noodles. Once we all reordered, we got our food about 30 minutes later. The ribs had no meat. It was like battered bones. The rice and noodles was burnt. They had some weird tasting gravy on the chicken. The bbq port was dried out, with no bbq. The egg role looked like a badly burnt tamale. Tea was served in a coffee brewer, which tasted burnt. We were seated in the back area, which ended up in us being neglected. The quality of the food was terrible and way over priced. I would never recommend this restaurant. The food and service was very bad. I should have been paid to eat here...which I would have declined...Do not spend your hard earned money there. You have been warned!
