This small quaint community houses all kinds of wonderful surprises. My needs are always met promptly and courteously by the staff. I have been working out of town and in Colfax quite a few times and have frequented the lunch counter but had yet to try ordering food off the menu. Yesterday, I saw a lunch special and when asked, my question was how long it would take to do a grilled cheese and then before I could be answered , I asked if it could be altered to a ham and cheese?...
Always friendly and they make wonderful food.We go in and have our lunch almost every Friday. friendly staff and always greet people with a smile. Even though you can see they are very bizzy. They are never short with their customers. Always courteous and kind.
It is the only grocery store in a rural town, and although it is small, the quality of ingredients is very good and they are friendly. The bread is especially delicious. I bought muffins, fruit, and yogurt and enjoyed it as a quick breakfast with coffee. There is a small cafe in the corner, and it is bustling with locals. Not tasting the food.
