2 times now I came just after opening and they told me it would be 10 or 15 minutes before they could take my order. Sounds like someone needs to get there a bit earlier.

Lousy service, the manager has the personality of a stump, cold food, very expensive, not the cleanest, feels like a morgue inside, access is poor at best and iIam surprised they don't charge you extra for a straw, they charge extra for everything else. Quote from the manager when I asked for 1 extra fry sauce "I would be happy to let you pay for an extra sauce"! Never again!

I was driving home to Montana from Hermiston, OR and we stopped here for lunch. Staff was super nice and friendly, very helpful and kind. I missed Zips from my childhood (I used to live in an Idaho town that had one), and I'm so glad we stopped there for lunch.
I went to get my drink and the mat slipped. I fell against the machine wrenching my knee and back Tried telling the counter girl but all she wanted to do was argue I said might want to fix this..again arguing ensued..4:25 on August 29 2025 Husband was in the drive through while I went inside.

We travel alot and over the years the zips in other locations has turned me off of zips. Stopped in last night out of necessity (not alot of options in colfax and we were gonna be out late). One of the best burgers I've had in awhile wish all the zips could get it together like them.

Love Zips. This one is perfect except they don't have self service sauces, which is something I got used to at other Zips restaurants. Other than that, perfect. Friendly staff, fast service and delicious food. I don't want to knock them down a star for having to request sauces like every other chain, but, really Zips. Be Zips. Put out the self service sauces.
