Rogers' Bakery is the best! The donuts here are not only impressively large, but they’re always fresh and absolutely delicious. Honestly, these are probably the best donuts you’ll find anywhere in the Walla Walla Valley. Highly recommended for any donut lover.

Would have appreciated a heads up on the wait, but the food was delicious and fresh. The manager apologized for the wait
We were tired and faced a long drive so I wasn't as pleasant as I should have been.

40 minutes for me to get the other half of my order last time I was in. On a Monday. With only a 5 minute stretch with 5 people in line WELL after me. And my order was a heated croissant and a bagel and cream cheese. And the half of the order that DID make it out, was wrong. They put cream cheese on my croissant. You can't write this stuff.

How did I know it was 40 minutes for a heated bagel & cream cheese? I kept my receipt. And presented it to them on the two times I inquired about the delay on my order. Regardless, there was no apology offered, but rather the excuse that they "got busy." Which, they weren't "40 minutes for a bagel on a Monday busy" from this old service industry dude's eyes. And there were 4 employees.

Which leads me to why I reviewed Rogers at 3-stars. The food quality (emphasis on the bakery and not the sandwiches per as) and the price points keep this place on the radar. The cozy atmosphere helps as well. But as long as I have been coming to this place, the service always seems to struggle. It's a shame. An apology or accountability measure when warranted would go far, but often times I feel like their is simply a detached lack of genuine hospitality here.

The bear claws and the apple fritters were large and tasted very good. However, the Reuben sandwich was very disappointing. Perhaps, it should be removed from the menu until they can improve on the quality.
If and when I return, I'll be purchasing the pastries.

Food is good but how on earth do you justify taking 15 minutes to butter a bagel?

Really cool place, nice inside, great people, and relatively good prices. I enjoyed my cappuccino, and the maple bar! I’d recommend going, especially if it’s your first time in Walla Walla and College Place!
