Generally, the food here is good, but be prepared for long wait times. I'd say the last 4 times we've been here the wait time has always been 1 hour minimum to get our food. But has sometimes been almost 2 hours. Unsure how big their kitchen is, if they have multiple grills or cooks, but if it's possible, it would be nice for them to expand the kitchen. Food is good, wait times for food to be cooked is long.
My husband and I had breakfast here. After his hair cut. The woman who cut his hair suggested the Acorn Saloon and told us where it was so we decided to try it out and we were glad we did. I had hot tea, a biscuit with sausage gravy and it was delicious. My husband had eggs and sausage with coffee. The total bill was under $30.00
The first time going in the food was great! The service, however, was disappointing. The waitress acted like we were an inconvenience. My cousin ordered a baked potato, thinking it was a full meal from the description menu. What he got was a small potato that had nothing on it but cheese and a teaspoon of taco meat that was 2 dollars more to add. Very disappointed 😞
