Good food, not too bad on price. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star across the board is it took longer then I'd anticipated. The drink situation is kind of a fail. I went in the middle of the day and was not able to grab a cider, the non-alcoholic options are not conveniently located. So, I had to pay for my food, go pick a drink, than get back in line to pay for it. Also, their seating is mostly high top tables. It's got a little bit of a cramped feeling....
The food was excellent. The atmosphere was great. The service was friendly. You don’t usually get a smile these days. The food was so good. I wanted to leave a yelp review, but this is the best that I could do. I don’t have a Yelp account.
I have gone several times. It was never very good each time. The last time I ordered a bowl of soup, that cost almost $15.00. There was nothing with it! No crackers, no bread or cornbread or sourcream to help cool down the spiciness.
I am including a picture with my post so that maybe the Poor House can make adjustments befitting the price charged for soup.
