The service was super friendly and cool little gift shop. I had the wings and really didn’t enjoy how they were double breaded. It was more breading than wing and the stew upset my grandmas stomach.

Stopped here for lunch after a ride through the woods. Found out after we already paid that they charged us a group fee, we weren't even sitting together and didn't even get our orders out at the same time. the other tables were done and left before our food was served, then they proceeded to hit us with a group fee. then another fee for "splitting the check" When the server handed us the tablet to pay on, none of that information was disclosed on the screen, it wasn't until my buddy noticed the subtotal didn't add up that he questioned it. They removed it for him, but I already paid and tipped! I feel ripped off, especially considering the hamburger was made from what appeared to be frozen Costco hamburger patties! Very shady the games they appear to play here...

We came here after spending a night camping. We were seated right away by a waitress who was very friendly and attentive. We ordered breakfast and it was incredible. The fried steak with potatoes and eggs may have been the best breakfast I've ever had. Very cool place that fits it's environment. I will absolutely return.

Staying in one of the cabins for a couple of nights about 3 weeks ago, we ate here twice. We both found the food to be good. Mushroom arugula pizza and the waffle fries nachos were especially good. Do wish fries would have come with sandwiches without a high uncharged, but with one of us ordering chicken fingers, we could share. Not unexpected prices for type of area. We really liked the atmosphere. Quaint little place, Cosy inside and also had tables outside. Both times we were there place wasn't too busy, but only seemed to be one person working. Things took a while, and hubby had to go looking for a drink refil, but they were friendly enough. Although it says they open at 8:00, both days we were there they did not open till 11:00. The other restaurant in town didn't seem to open till 11:00 either, so we ended up at the gas station and actually got a pretty nice breakfast surprisingly.

2 restaurants in the area and I picked this one. Idk if I would again. Let’s start with the service. That was incredibly bad experience. The waitresses were awful. Literally passed us more than once and told me straight to my face they were going to do another table first even though I was already there 5 minutes before. Then our waitress finally came but before taking our order asked another table if they have been taken care of before ours again. Like felt like we weren’t even there. Ok now the food, the prices are way too high for the quality of the food that is offered. 20 bucks for a burger that comes with a small bag of chips. Just because you know you are one of the only restaurants in Cougar doesn’t mean rip people off. Then the waitresses wanted us to pay before we got our food because they were changing shifts and wanted their tip money ha last time I checked you earn a tip, you’re not entitled to it. Honestly with the service and price of the food you should tip me for stopping by. I was expecting a lot more but was surprised and disappointed I would. Would I recommend this place… no probably not, just make the drive back to Vancouver for better food.

Before heading home from camping, my friend suggested we check this place out. We arrived maybe an hour before closing. We ordered quickly so as to not hold them up, too much. The staff were all super sweet. We ordered the Campfire Fries and the Skamania Grilled Cheese, subbed onion rings. We both had to get a huckleberry lemonade. After stuffing ourselves with all this food, we decided to also get Truman's Eruption chocolate lava cake. It was all so good! Clean plate club!

After settling the bill, we took a quick tour of the gift shop just before they were closed for the evening. We're definitely stopping here again. Gotta say hi to the big furry guy, Bigfoot again. I'm actually looking into staying at the resort. It was so calm and peaceful out there

16 bucks for French fries. one can only hope the tragic potato shortage in Cougar resolves quickly. Or just go down the street. We did. Wildly overpriced.
