Lone Fir resort has been a favorite pit stop of mine since I moved to the PNW three and a half years ago. I often find myself hiking in the Gifford Pinchot national forest during the summer and after all of that heat and sweat their mulberry ice cream is the perfect treat to get me through the two hour drive back home.

I first came to this lovely location back in 2002 and over the past four or five years each year multiple times. Such a great place for families. Everyone should put this place on their list of places to stay. Love Love Love it here.
Our room was clean and the staff super friendly. The grounds were well kept. And it was QUIET! Overall, it's quaint and peaceful.

The Lone Fir Resort is a highly praised destination known for its exceptional hospitality, well-maintained facilities, and stunning natural surroundings. The location is perfect for hiking Mt. St. Helens and exploring nearby lakes, wildlife, waterfalls, and forest views. The restaurant serves delicious food and a good selection of local brews and great cocktails. The staff are extremely nice, friendly, and sincere. Food is a little on the pricey side, but worth the cost. There is a nice souvenir/sundry shop on site and a community building with pool and karaoke. Whether seeking a peaceful retreat or an active adventure, Lone Fir Resort creates lasting memories and leaves guests eager to return.
