Lone Fir resort has been a favorite pit stop of mine since I moved to the PNW three and a half years ago. I often find myself hiking in the Gifford Pinchot national forest during the summer and after all of that heat and sweat their mulberry ice cream is the perfect treat to get me through the two hour drive back home.

I first came to this lovely location back in 2002 and over the past four or five years each year multiple times. Such a great place for families. Everyone should put this place on their list of places to stay. Love Love Love it here.

My daughter and I stayed in Cabin #10, and it was perfect!
Also the service was very good, we came in late evening and they had a little envelope ready for us with our key and everything we needed.
