Callen's hosted our group of about 20 last night. The service was exceptional, the food was wonderful! A great place for small or larger groups. Thank you Callen's, you continue to be amazing for our Whidbey community.

Had breakfast here after a night of camping, it was amazing! Loved watching the ferry come in and out. Employees were very nice and helpful, even brought our toddler some fruit to snack on while we waited for dishes. We can't wait to come back!

My family and I dined at Callen's on a Saturday night, when we arrive we were greeted by the hostess with an exceptional attitude, very friendly, bubbly and positive. Right off the bat it felt good being there. It was busy which was expected and we didn't have a reservation, the hostess informed us it would be about a 15 minute wait, we waited for about 5 minutes and were seated, we then were greeted by Amy our server she was super sweet, prompt and extremely bubbly.They had an issue going on, not sure what I didn't ask, they were absolutely slammed and clearly behind but when I tell you these ladies had their game face on it was on! Whatever happened they were absolutely handling it. Drinks were never empty, food was delicious, kids had a blast. Food was behind and they could see my kids who were 2 and 7 were getting antsy, they brought snacks for them which was super helpful.I've been to alot of places and have never had service as top notch as this. We were beyond impressed and couldn't stop talking about it amongst ourselves.To the owner, I want you to know that you have yourself one hell of a staff and should be extremely proud.Thank you to Michelle the manager for all that you did for us that night and all you did for your staff, despite the massive amount of stress you were enduring.You guys did amazing and should give yourselves a pat on the back.We will absolutely be returning.

The service at Callen’s was top notch! The food was amazing! BIG shout out to Amy our server! Her attitude was above and beyond dispite being slammed and over whelmed she conducted and handled herself with such composure thank you for the wonderful experience! Also a shout out to Michel your staff made our experience most plesent! I did not catch the hostess name but she also was vary welcoming and had a great attitude as well!

Light and airy location overlooking ocean, ferry and wetlands. Inspired menu, good wine list, well prepared. Loved the Penn Cove mussels and chorizo. Maybe accommodate non-dairy customers better on dessert menu?

We've been here a couple times before as we live on the island. It's been good, no complaints. We went Friday, 4/12/24. Wow. I wouldn't even classify this as food. I don't know if you could even intentionally make something this bad? Mine was completely inedible. Everything on the plate was cold, except the chicken? I mean, I ordered chicken, but I have no idea what this was? It was if I was chewing a salt encrusted eraser. I was really concerned about getting sick after trying it. My husband's was *less* terrible, but he was pretty hungry. Either way, it was a definite final experience situation. The waiter was great. It was clearly not her fault, and we felt terrible for her. She deserved and received a nice tip. Most of our "food" was comped. We're guessing this is one of those places that has changed ownership/management or gone with the tourist business model, assuming they can serve clearance mystery meat because people are just passing through and won't be back regardless.

I had such a wonderful dinner tonight at Callen's ! I had the New York strip Yukon potatoes and beautiful fresh delicious vegetables. The steak was cooked to perfection. Thank you so much ?

My family has always had Easter brunch together with my kids and grandchildren. Usually 20 people. After being told by our usual Easter meeting place that we must pay up front when making the reservations, we called Callens and they were accommodating, grateful for our business, and gave excellent service considering the restaurant was packed and there were 20 people in our group! Kudos to Michelle and all the employees for a very memorable Easter and we'll see you next year?!

We were waiting for the ferry and stopped in for a couple drinks, it's a super cute place. Amy, the bartender was super nice. She had a great personality and she was so bubbly. If we ever visit Washington again and in that area, we would stop again.
