This is a charming cafe on the pier in Coupeville and probably the best local place to get a hearty breakfast and a good espresso.I love going here whenever I'm in Coupeville.

A lovely little cafe that we visit multiple times on every trip to Whidbey. The in house mugs are all gorgeous! Two Pokestops and two gyms in reach of cafe seating.

The food is nothing special and in my opinion overpriced.17$ is quite steep for a grilled cheese sandwich. Not to mention the 18% "service charge"; if you are going to add that to the bill (which is questionable already) then at least modify the menu's prices to reflect the actual price you are charging don't be sneaky about it.

Although my BLT was good, our other 3 meals were clearly just things that had been unpackaged and reheated. Skip this and look elsewhere for lunch.

My wife and I visited The Cove 4 years ago. We remember the restaurant as service being prompt, we were greeted by a host, and we could get some of the best Penn Cove Mussels. Today, we were greatly disappointed by The Cove. We found it empty, no one to greet us, and the only seafood was canned tunafish and clam chowder... we were ignored by the staff for 10 minutes before we left... Highly do not recommend The Cove.

The best formy Chai Latte ? the cafe in the wharf. I love everything about this place, really cute and feel calm, can get inspirations for my creating work! just note they don’t have wifi. We have to use own hotspot.

Rating 3 stars because they implemented an 18% service fee to orders (in lieu of tipping). I dont appreciate being forced to pay extra ; let me decide if/how much to tip or incorporate it into the menu price. This makes me not want to visit anymore. Otherwise, their bagel sandwiches are amazing and their waffles were good too.

Great location next to the ferry terminal. Coffee was higher than I used to paying. It did not include seating.

Here’s a place that doesn’t trust their customers to tip them adequately. I couldn’t figure out why the amount was nearly $5 more than what I’d figured in my head. But they’re essentially stealing 18% service charge- but… WHAT service?! You order at the counter, they don’t get your water, you clean up your own table. Just like a fast food place. And it’s not cheap. $10.50 for a bagel with an egg in it. It wasn’t good or maybe it was the bad taste left in my mouth by these people. Avoid this tourist trap.
