A plain & simple bakery with incredible pastries.
The bathroom. When I asked the friendly service person where the bathroom was…she hesitated. Then we used the bathroom and it was beyond filthy. The employees share this sane bathroom (there are multiple employee signs) and the staff/owners should be ashamed they keep the bathroom this dirty. We had bought pastries prior to using the bathroom and afterwards we gave out pastries to the crows. Lost appetite. One star for food because the employees who make the food use the filthy bathroom.
Their baked goods won't disappoint. Bread, pastries, cookies, double thumbs up. Slightly slow service and there's almost always a wait. Go earlier in the day to get what you want because they do run out of goodies pretty quickly. It's that good!
Above and beyond delicious food and outstanding service. It looks like you walk straight into the bakery but the counter is to the right. They also have candied bacon.
Tiny little bakery with delicious food. Beef and potato handpie was hot and very tasty. Cardamom bun was so flaky and buttery. Definitely recommend both things. Upstairs is the Oystercatcher restaurant

This is a no frills working bakery. The location is wonderful for walking around the town. The food is excellent and a wonderful addition to a morning coffee.

After grabbing a cup of coffee down the street, I stopped by Little Red Hen Bakery for a pastry. It's a small shop and I wish I tried the bread. I got a Cardamom Roll. It was sweet and good. A little on the harder side as far as texture. Cute spot to sit outside and look towards the water.

Superb baked goods. Plum hand pie was spectacular. Beautiful pastry, lightly spiced filling with a perfect level of sweetness. Cardamom bun was also delightful. Lightly sweet, and perfect blend of light and toothsome. I wish I could have had one of everything.

This is a working environment so atmosphere plays no role. And it’s historic Coupeville, so who cares? But the baked good are divine! Had a strawberry vanilla hand pie with the most tender crust and scrummy filling. The chocolate croissant was top notch. Amazing lamentation within the pastry. People were all working hard and dressed appropriately. I was impressed!

Curry chicken meat pie and cardamom roll were excellent. Pretty close quarters inside when ordering, but there is outdoor seating.
