Was excited to go after reading reviews. Went there to find ice cream only to find it was closed. Seems odd for a Saturday afternoon in August. Didn't see any hour signs. Hope the next person has better luck.
Very kind and patient service as we sorted out our complicated order. Exceptional ice cream!!

Didn't have time to stop there but I probably will one of these days.
Flowing...
Stopped here on a hot afternoon after hiking. Yum! Sweet ice cream stand with a good variety of flavors. I got the waffle cone with Huckleberry and Strawberry ice cream. ?
Stopped here on our way back from visiting Artist Point. I had 2 scoops of strawberry on a waffle cone and my wife had a scoop of huckleberry and a scoop of coffee on a waffle cone. We both enjoyed our flavors, this place will be a regular stop for us whenever we're in the area.
nothing better than ice cream in the mountains...WAY better than the beach!!
Ice cream is good.
Such a great little place to visit after a day long hike. The ice cream is really good and the prices are perfect. It's $6 for a single scoop sugar cone or $7 for a double scoop waffle. It's a no-brainer to go for the double. My favorite by far is the coconut. It's a dairy based ice cream with bits of coconut. The waffle cones are also perfectly crunchy. They also have benches and play big band music while you relax. I hope I see this place open every summer for our post hike stop.
First I would like to say, I saw a 1 star review - and after trying this place, I could not believe it- so I clicked on that person’s profile and it looks like he has given 1 stars to multiple restaurants… which is not cool and says a lot about that person. So in theory, this place should have 5/5 stars and rightfully so! The ice cream is so good, the dairy is local, and the owner was extremely nice!I love little town ice cream shops and this one definitely did not disappoint. I got the cappuccino chip and the scoops were very generous. If you are in the area, highly recommend!

Great ice cream, great service!
Felt like we were in an episode of the Twilight Zone - after a grueling hike in the hot sun up near Baker, we were on a mission to find ice cream or shakes or some kind of cold treat and expected to have to drive a bit since so many businesses along the way seemed closed or not offering what we were looking for. Then we saw the sign along the road that simply read "Ice Cream" with an arrow and we nearly missed the turn into the parking lot, but we made it - look for the wall of skis along the back of the parking lot and you won't miss it!I decided to try the chocolate waffle cone with two scoops: coconut and coconut mango chocolate. The coconut ice cream was light and creamy, with coconut shavings mixed in; the coconut mango chocolate had swirls of chocolate and mango chunks, and I'm happy to say that it does not taste like artificial mango at all (which I personally find tastes like the smell of a sweaty sock after a long hike). So I'm very happy with both flavors, and the chocolate cone was a nice way to change things up a bit! Thanks for satisfying our cravings - looking forward to stopping there again next time I'm headed up that way.
Finished an epic hike and hit the brakes real hard when we saw this place on the side of the road. The coconut and mango ice cream were both delicious and refreshing, spoke to this Hawaii girls heart. Perfect treat to round out the day. Bonus is a cute guy serving you ice cream. Just sayin! :) Worth the pit stop.
Yummy strawberry ice cream!! Great stop after a hike.
LEGIT! It's been a long day....you've hiked miles, took a million selfies in front of Shuksan, you're in your car and you think, "nah, let's just keep driving, we've got ice cream at home". If you think like this, you'll certainly be blowing it. Stop and grab a cone, it'll make your day!
