Everything was good... except not sure if the OpenTable $16 Reward Card Mastercard was claimed/used. I handed the waitress the printout which stated instructions on how to claim the amount. The bill showed a $15 birthday lunch coupon. Since it was only a $1 difference and we had to leave, I just paid without asking about the OpenTable Rewards card.

Anthony's Surf 'n Turf is as good as it gets. We enjoyed a perfectly cooked sirloin steak with a half crab, a wintertime Thursday night special. The Dungeness crab was cooked to perfection as well. And the service was excellent. Our server was awesome and friendly. And who can go to Anthony's and not enjoy the best chocolate mousse dessert ever? We have loved Anthony's for over 40 years now.

We had fantastic service provided by Tamiko. Our clams and mussels were on point. We all cleaned our plates with Yellowfin tuna, salmon, and rib eye.

Always a great experience here at the Des Moines Anthony's. My only disappointment is that this location is the ONLY Anthony's location that was not offering the Lobster Special this month. They said their kitchen could not accommodate it. That's the reason we booked this. That said, the service and dinner we did have was excellent.

Wonderful food and wonderful service. I hadn't been here in a while and it was even better than I remembered. The service was excellent. Food delicious. I started with the Caesar and had the salmon both prepared perfectly. They were busy, but their team approach kept the table cleared and the food timely. Great experience.

Chowder was not up to Anthony's standard, probably cooked all day and potatoes had disintegrated and the 3 clams were small pieces and tough. The salmon in the smoked salmon fettuccini did not seem to have ever been smoked and the sauce was supposed to be a garlic cream sauce but had no garlic flavor and seemed more like a gravy.

A bit of a disappointment. Birthday dinner for husband. I noted that on the reservation request. We were given a rather poor location and our waitperson was just so so. The food was ok but not outstanding, I get better fish and chips elsewhere for a lot less money. If we ever go again, I would opt for the downstairs location. Friendlier and just more fun.

I met a dear friend that I hadn't seen in months. The wait staff was lovely giving us ample time to catch up and told us on multiple occasions that there was no hurry. The location is exquisite. Quintessential Northwest at its finest. The food was very good. I particularly loved the chowder. A go to favorite. I appreciated Anthony's validating my parking as their lot is a pay only lot. A nice gesture.

We were initially seated near the bar area and after asking to be reseated away from the noise it set the perfect ambiance for my birthday dinner. We had the salmon and steak & lobster, mussels for the appetizer which was succulent and delicious. I would personally recommend adding some garlic with the lemon butter sauce. We enjoyed a complimentary dessert, berries sorbet and the caramel cheesecake which was out of this world. Oh yes, I don't consume alcoholic beverages so I tried out the “root beer” and now I am hooked! We will be back soon. :D
