The food is excellent. I had thebaked spaghetti with meatballs. The sauce was delicious, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. Served sizzling. Brought memories of dys stationed in Europe. Thanks, guys... I definitely will be coming back. ????

We ordered two Gyros and they used packaged lamb slices. There is no gyro meat being grilled and cut. I could have bought the meat at a grocery store and made a meal like this one. Sorry, but customers need to know.

We love Des Moines Athens Pizza & Pasta!Great and fresh food just like Mama's homemade food. The Chef Salad is absolutely divine. Clean and friendly atmosphere. And waiters are so wonderful. ?Parking: Mostly people are ordering to go so I we never had any problems with finding a parking spot.
Our experience at Athens Pizza and Pasta was tainted by an unfortunate incident that hinted at potential discrimination. Hailey Marquez's refusal to serve us, even for a to-go order, based on the presence of my service dog, raises serious concerns. Discrimination against individuals with disabilities is both disheartening and unacceptable. Despite the recommendation, our encounter at this establishment left us feeling marginalized and disappointed by the apparent lack of awareness or willingness to adhere to inclusive practices. Discrimination has no place in providing services to the public.
