What a mess. Apparently many people called in sick for Mother's day. Our server had to double as the cook. We waited in a fairly quiet restaurant for over an hour for food. It was absolute chaos. When the server did come out, he said he was going to look into giving us a discount. He had to go back to the kitchen, manager wasn't helpful so I just paid the bill and left. They need to get it together. Our server was nice, he just was way over worked.

I love all Red Robin restaurants. My family often plans our vacation around visiting a different Red Robin that we’ve never been to. I can say with confidence that this is by far the best Red Robin location in North America. It’s a must visit.

A Wild but Memorable Night at Red Robin

I recently went to Red Robin with three of my boys, and the experience was honestly a wild mix of fun, confusion, and great food!

We arrived as a party of four and were told by the host that the wait would be about 20 minutes. Not too bad, and we were seated pretty much on time. Our waitress whose name I believe was Arlina (though not 100% sure) was super friendly and welcoming. She took our orders efficiently and brought out our drinks quickly, even though it was clearly a busy night.

The appetizer came out fast, which was great, but then we ran into a hiccup one of our regular cheeseburgers took around 30 minutes to arrive. Arlina came by and said something to our table, but there was a bit of confusion. Me and my brother couldn’t really catch what she said, while our two other friends had a different interpretation. Turns out, we misunderstood what she meant, which might’ve added to the delay.

Eventually, a tall younger white gentleman possibly a manager came over and checked in with us. When I told him we were still waiting on that one burger, he immediately apologized and said it may have been given to another table by accident. He assured us he’d get it “red ticketed” in the kitchen right away. Respect for owning the situation and fixing it fast.

When Arlina returned with the food, we cleared up the earlier confusio turns out our two friends were right about what she said. Despite the mix-up, she was super cool and even offered us a complimentary side for the inconvenience. That gesture really stood out.

And of course, we got more bottomless fries, which were 🔥 as always. By the end of the meal, we were full, satisfied, and laughing about the whole experience. It was a busy night, and while there was a wait and some miscommunication, the staff handled it with professionalism and kindness.

Would I go back? For sure. Just maybe I’ll listen more carefully next time 😅.

Some assistant manager took my order with total dislike in her attitude I ordered bottomless fries she didn't ask what sauce I wanted then when I had to ask for said sauce will apparently I was asking a lot because I got more attitude then. She served the table right next to me twice & didn't make eye contact or ask me if I needed a refill which clearly I did the other server said she took your order not me & right before she came the guy bussing the table right next to me was acting like he couldn't hear me attempting to get his attention 3 times the people further down heard me so I know he did to. I haven't been here in forever but I don't remember service ever bring quite this horrible I recommend Bob's Burgers& teriyaki's off pack hwy by 200th great customer service & great food💯. UPDATE: ended up speaking with the manager who apologized & said that's not what they strive for & I would agree🤷🏻‍♂️🤣. He did make a decent effort to correct the issue.

I was finally able to get my son to his favorite restaurant for his birthday dinner. The service was extremely slow for the restaurant being very empty. They had cut the wrong Burger in half. My son's kids meal drink they ended up charging us for a drink. The server didn't seem to know what the specials were or what to apply on the order. Which we went on a Wednesday so it was 50% off kids meals. So my son and his two friends who were with us we're all originally charged full price. Yes it was changed but the server should know the specials
We were there during happy hour but they said that they changed it and only happy hour at the bar including the food. That's not specified on any part of the website or the location specifically. Topping it off with getting my son another burger that he enjoys for lunch the next day. The burger that I got for a friend I had asked for all the sauces and salsa's to be on the side. They were not . Burger was soggy when they got it.
Overall I feel the service was half-assed (slow, didn't listen to our wants/needs, didn't know specials)... Definitely not the Red Robin experience we're used to. We specifically went to this Des Moines Washington location cuz it had been better than our local location here in Kent. The only reason I even gave her a tip was because it was a large order. And it was the bare minimum of 10%.... $88 spent that's including the tip.
My son did get his birthday sunde but no happy birthday. We will stick to our local spot

My family of 4 were excited to tryout this Red Robin location, as it is new to us. We’ve been to Red Robin’s throughout the west coast and this was by far the worst we’ve ever been to!! It was pretty dead for a Saturday night, yet it took a hostess several mins to greet us and seat us. As we walked in, we noticed ALL of the tables, as well as the floor were dirty. The hostess took us to one table that was less dirty than the rest, leaving us to swipe the crumbs and straw wrapper to the floor.. our waitress was nice, however she was working alone and had to cover the rest of the other 3 families that were seated.. the bar tender was on her cell phone (on speakerphone) while simultaneously making drinks, there seemed to be a Manager on duty with a black and pink flowered shirt, however I couldn’t tell you what she was doing because it wasn’t ensuring the place was running smoothly.. did I mention it was dirty?? I’ve never taken photos of a restaurant before, but this one was so appalling I couldn’t help it!! My daughter ordered a milkshake and was sick before we left.. our nice family evening ended with my child being sick all night from that shake!! Not only was the place dirty, but they were out of ingredients for the particular burger that both my husband and I wanted to order which was extremely disappointing!! I get that restaurants run out of ingredients, but by the looks of things and other comments made, this location isn’t as busy as the others we’ve enjoyed throughout the years!! All of our observations only confirmed the “Good” health dept rating we saw in the window as we walked in..

There were so many crumbs on the table, the sleeve of my shirt was covered in them, the tablet screen looked like it had never been cleaned which is so unsanitary considering it’s usually children that play with these things, the floor was filthy which is a safety hazard, the ledge above our table had crumbs and thick dust on it, almost if not all of the empty tables were still dirty from customers who had been long gone… this location was such a let down, I had to share!! I really hope they get it together in there because it’s such a nice location and the Red Robin brand doesn’t deserve this!! Corp should come in IMMEDIATELY and get a brand new staff in there!!

Red Robin has good food, but the service could definitely be better. The greeting podium is in a weird spot, and most of the time, no one is there when you walk in. I’ve had to flag down the bartender just to get seated. Once you do get a table, the food is solid, but the service could use some improvement.

Unfortunate, but pattern, this red robin has atrocious service and mediocre food.

If you look at my reviews, you can see I am extremely positive, I like to see the best in restaurants, and provide empathy. However when I tell you the service at this location was ABYSMAL, I do not exaggerate.

Our waitress saw us three times the entire time we were there, it took 15 minutes to be seen, the onion rings were not fried all the way, and the entree was mediocre. We were there for an hour, waiting anxiously to be served. Why did a fountain drink refill when requested take 10 minutes?

And the place was overstaffed, and under crowded, there is absolutely no excuse for this level of bad.

If this was a one time experience, I would not review at all, I'm more than willing to be understanding, I'm a service worker myself. But this is pattern! Different days, different times, it's unfortunate but repeated.

I don't blame the staff, and won't throw any names under the bus. But management, you have some sort of problem here. And its not just me whos experienced this.
