Bruceski's Stone Oven Pizza

We went to Bruceski’s Stove Oven Pizza for the first time today around 4 p.m., so it wasn’t too busy. We ordered the Sweet BBQ Pizza, a 10-piece boneless wings (split between 5 mild buffalo and 5 garlic parmesan—nice that they let you split sauces on the 10- and 20-piece orders), and a half Caesar salad.

Starting with the wings: they looked very small, closer to popcorn-chicken size. We definitely liked the mild buffalo more—the garlic parmesan didn’t have much flavor. It’s also a bit of a bummer that dipping sauce like ranch isn’t included—you have to pay extra.

The Caesar salad was actually pretty good; the dressing was spread evenly, and I’d order it again.

For the pizza: make sure you read the toppings list carefully—our Sweet BBQ Chicken Pizza came sprinkled with oregano on top. We liked it, but oregano can be hit or miss for some people. The pizza itself was sweet with hints of honey in a few bites. Honestly, I wouldn’t have guessed it was “BBQ” by taste alone, but we still enjoyed it.

For dessert, they were out of the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cookie, so we tried the Gulab Jamun. My wife really enjoyed it; I thought it was fine, though the cardamom flavor was a bit strong for me.

Service was good—the waiter checked on us often. Even with three TVs showing football, the restaurant was surprisingly quiet, almost a little too quiet for the vibe.

I visited Bruceski’s pizza yesterday with my friends and we tried their Shahi Paneer pizza and I must say it was one of the best pizza’s i had. The crust was so soft and toppings were so fresh. The service was excellent as they were so welcoming and friendly. On top of all these the prices are really great. Definitely coming back.

Great food. Everything hot, crispy and fresh flavor. Spoke with the owner for a few minutes and his passion alone will make this place a success. We had the large Supreme pizza and an order of parmasean French fries everything was exactly as its supposed to be.
Next time you're in the Dupont Washington area....go get some there.

Use to be good but it changed owners and now it’s overpriced bland pizza

Best pizza in the area. Perfect amount of sauce, cheese, toppings, and even the crust is amazing on it's own.
The workers even remember their regulars and ask how things are going specific to each customer.
Very professional and worth the price

Tbh the food was good, the staff is welcoming, and service was great. I only gave it a 4 star on food atm because of my fault. We had a pickup order and ate the pizza a little later when it already was cooled down. I bet the pizza would have been much better if we ate at the restaurant, or ate it immediately while it was still hot; so we could see the cheese pull.

Nonetheless everything about this place was good. I can't wait to bring my family there next time to eat at the restaurant.

P.s. we ordered 3 large pizzas for a group of 6 adults and 6 kids. It was plenty.

Dropped in here while traveling. Tyler provided excellent service, the caesar salad was really good and my pizza was cooked tp perfection. Would visit again.

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with warm and friendly service. The food was excellent and our server was extremely attentive. It was clear to me that there is a lot of love and passion in the place. At the end of our meal, I asked the server if it was family-owned, and it turned out he (DJ) was the owner. We were thrilled to give him his flowers face-to-face. Highly recommend.

Got this pizza while I was in town on business. Was pretty good, toppingd and crust could have been a little crispier. Prices were ok (not Papa John's level but it isnt a cheap chain) and they loaded it with cheese when I asked for extra. Worth a shot if you're in the area.

Stayed in the area and walked over to Bruceski's, based on the recent reviews. Not only were they welcoming, they blew my mind! The tandoori chicken pizza was incredible, with a crispy crust and amazing well balanced and flavorful toppings! The service was kind, attentive, and friendly. We will absolutely be back.
