Given inflation I feel bad deducting a partial star, and that's really all it is. There is no pre-dinner chips and salsa and prices are definitely up, but not exhorbinatly so. Now the good, the enchilada sauce was wonderful. The traditional sauce was made with peanuts, such a treat. The green chili steak had an very nice spicy kick. The sides were treated with care and felt special. I wish I lived in the area; Viva would become my new favorite haunt.

This is the first place I had to pay for chips and salsa. This place is over priced, for that they should give the chips and salsa for free. Atmosphere is nice. Service is quick and friendly. The steak enchiladas were ok. The stake was no tender and very chewy.

The staff and the interior are nice. The decorations are colorful and the staff prompt and friendly. The food is not amazing . It is definitely made for a certain type of person. I tried all three meals at the table and they were bland. This is what I’d consider “Made for Americans with sensitive taste buds” Mexican food. I’ve eaten Mexican and Tex-Mex (no, they aren’t the same) all my life and this didn’t come close to mediocre Tex-Mex.

Came in to the restaurant and a very nice young man came to greet me. I asked if I could get an order to go because it was almost closing time and he ran to the kitchen and came back and he said they could. Got the food to go. The food was amazing. The shrimp taco’s were excellent. Got my daughter a burrito and she said the beans in the burrito were super delicious. The young man that took my order to go “Thank you for your outstanding customer service”. Your service and confirming my order since one of the meals on the orders had dietary restrictions was even more of an added plus. Highly recommend this place.

I’m on the fence with this one. Spacious location with quick service. My margarita was missing the whole Rita…. this was recommended by my server but had no flavor for the price. Chips n queso kinda bland and a whopping $10!! I went with the 2 taco dinner and $40 later, let’s just say no Viva. The best part was the friendly staff and decor. Don’t know that I would rush back for this dinner plate. Lo siento amigos.

I had the el pastor tacos but I asked for crispy, the filling was excellent! The crispy shell didn’t taste good. The salsa trio, excellent! My friend had the ground beef tacos. The filling was ok. Our service was very friendly

Always a great time when eating at this restaurant. I have a large family and lots of little ones and the service is always so welcoming and great.
Went for my nephews birthday. I had basic carnitas tacos rice and beans. Food was okay...not bad but service was disappointing. The server did nor know what sauce was that came with meal? Didn't serve guacamole that my husband ordered. All this and very expensive for what we got. Atmosphere was clean and friendly but with all hard surfaces it was loud and hard for us to have a conversation. Probably won't return.
