This is now my favorite Mexican food, their servers had great recommendations and we tried some dishes I would have never experienced without the server telling us about them. My favorite thing about this place is actually the rice and beans. That may sound weird, but they actually season both which is Hugh, because most places rice and beans are bland. If I could give this more than 5 stars I would.

Went on a first date here and the food and service were great. Atmosphere was nice and ambient, but the check was a little high for two people not drinking with minimal orders.

Got the carnitas plate to go. Tastes way too fucking salty. Same with the beans and rice. And I love salt!

Not bad and not amazing. Everything on my plate tasted the same. I ate the Carne Asada with beans and rice. Maybe El Paso, TX spoiled me but I couldn't differentiate the taste between the three products. I placed them all in a tortilla and took a bite but didn't get the combination of flavors I was expecting when I ordered the meal. My waiter was cool. Although, I didn't get a refill or see him until my meal was complete and it wasn't busy. Overall, not a bad experience. I just expected more in the flavor department.

I am from down south where the Mexican food is superb, so when I moved to Washington I knew I wouldn't find anything like it. I feel like most places don't know how to season food well here, or are scared of seasoning. I tend to just cook all my Mexican food at home knowing it will come out good. But, I can honestly say that this place is good. Its comparable and a lot better than all the other Mexican restaurants I have tried here. Even if it is a little further of a drive, this is where I would go for my Mexican food. The service is always great, I like how they speak spanish to us (it makes us feel at home). The ambiance is nice, well decorated and feels like a real Mexican restaurant. I have gone twice so far (only because its not as close to us as I would like). If people want Mexican food this is who I recommend to them.

I wish I could say I had a better experience. Upon walking in, I was completely taken away by the beautiful decor and easy going atmosphere of the restaurant. However, my excitement was quickly replaced by disappointment before I even received my food. The service was awful and I felt as though we were not wanted there. Maybe the staff was having a bad day, I don't know..Anyways, my food was warm at best when it arrived and the rice looked old and dried out. For an additional $3.50 just for rice and beans, I expect a little better than that. To make matters worse, my food was so salty and flavorless that I couldn't finish it. Even my kids complained about the salt bomb on their plates and my kids LOVE salt.Long story short, my kids and I left the restaurant hungry. Seriously?I now have a mild case of food poisoning. In short, I wouldn't eat here again. It was awful.

It seems like cafeteria food in my opinion. It's delivered in 2 minutes after ordering, so it's basically cafeteria grade. The staff is sure to never refill your soda either, this place is definitely about maximum profit margin.

Very good service, the food is amazing, and the restaurant is beautiful inside. We had the Queso Blanco dip with chips and salsa, Carne Asada with rice/beans and guacamole. We loved everything. Way better than other Mexican places in Lakewood or Lacey. Flavorful!!!Parking: Plenty of parking around the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: My kids love their carne asada kids tacos with rice and beans.

Place is nice interior. Service is okay, but food sucks. Kind of place that white people would go crazy for. I mean, they put yellow cheese on their beans.

Overall the food is good.Cons: Mens bathroom has a water leak in the ceiling and the vents need cleaned BAD.The staff was less than helpful despite not being busy. We were brought an incorrect sized margarita which they then dumped out rather than just leaving and we had to reorder the kids meal because the burritos come swimming in red sauce which isn’t made clear in the menu nor in speaking with the staff.
