Lovely spot with outdoor patio, and very friendly service. Had Reuben sandwich that was beyond delicious!! My bruv had pulled pork sandwich which he enjoyed. Tried all beers, each very good. Hefeweisen particularly refreshing. Mom (from England, 88yrs old, quite particular about her brews) had barley wine and proclaimed it “excellent” in flavor, though the color was lighter than expected. Superb!!
The beer was fine but the food was outstanding. Shockingly high quality and with quick service. Particularly enjoyed the porchetta sandwich and the off menu grilled cheese carrot miso soup combo.
Food is great. Their beer is pretty skunky but they have some ok guest beers available. The staff seems pretty stressed and it can take a solid 10 minutes before anyone comes to your table after you sit down. If it wasn't for the food this would probably be a one star establishment.
