I was very disappointed with my experience at Bob’s Burgers in East Wenatchee on Grant Road. From the moment I walked in, the restaurant felt unwelcoming. Even getting through the front door was frustrating because it is unusually difficult to open. Once inside, there was no host available to greet or assist customers, and I stood there wondering if anyone even noticed I had entered.
The atmosphere itself feels cold, quiet, and uncomfortable. Instead of feeling lively or inviting like a restaurant should, it honestly felt awkward and stale, almost like walking into someone’s silent living room rather than a place meant to serve guests. There was no energy, no warmth, and no sense that customers were appreciated.
The service only added to the disappointment. I have worked in restaurants and hospitality for nearly 40 years, so I understand how important first impressions and customer interaction are. A restaurant should greet guests quickly and make them feel welcome the moment they walk through the door. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. The staff seemed unfriendly, disengaged, and uninterested in interacting with customers. Even basic courtesy felt absent. When I said “thank you,” I was ignored completely and never received a “you’re welcome” or “have a nice day.”
As for the food, it was mediocre at best. Nothing stood out as particularly fresh, flavorful, or memorable, especially considering the prices. Overall, the experience left me feeling uncomfortable rather than satisfied.
Customer service and atmosphere matter just as much as the food, and unfortunately this restaurant fell short in all three areas for me.

Brought the family in for dinner and it was a great time — our 7 year old daughter loved the two-color crayons they gave her to keep her busy while we waited. She had the chicken strips and my wife and I both went with the smash burgers, and honestly everything was delicious. Definitely our new go-to spot in Wenatchee!

Well in all honesty its just ok and nothing serious from how much is on the menu , i just wish the menu had more to offer which should include something to really stand out, like mixing up more than just steak and burgers. Gotta get more serious options added at some point. The alcoholic options are good though and thats promising. Good place i just wish it could have more to offer.

Had a couple beers and the veggie trio for lunch. Food was fresh and light. (It was veggies hummus and ranch), sat in bar. Atmosphere was nice, service was very good. If I'm back in town again I would definitely go back.

Very lil eye candy, w/e! But ur not here for a dull time. This place, because of a bartender.. it Will draw u back! 4got my wallet 1 day w/ MY 5YR old son, and was allowed 2 order what I wanted w/ a promise 2 return. Which I did after 15min of my departure! Tipped handsomely when I came back 2 show my appreciation. Superb ya Heard??!! Love this establishment all due 2 the right employee's

Service stood out during the visit. Our server FRANK handled everything with professionalism and attention. He checked in at the right times and made sure we had what we needed without hovering. The atmosphere felt calm and quiet, which made the meal relaxed and enjoyable. The burger arrived hot and packed with flavor. The meat tasted fresh and well seasoned. The toppings balanced the burger well and the bun held everything together without falling apart. Every bite felt satisfying and rich. The onion rings came out crispy and golden with a good crunch. They paired well with the sauces and added a nice contrast to the burger. Good food, a peaceful lunch setting, and excellent service made this a place worth visiting again. Don't usually give 5 stars but they get 5/5 thanks.
