Based on the reviews, Bubba J's BBQ is one of the best barbecue spots in Washington and beyond. The food is crazy good and outstanding. The Brisket Burnt Ends, Brisket Chili, and chili cheese fries are amazing. The brisket grilled cheese is yummy with sourdough bread toasted to perfection. The BBQ Mac & Cheese Burrito is a favorite, and the Brisket dip sandwich with auju, Gouda Mac & Cheese, and fried pickle chips are all amazing. The BBQ sauces are fire. Portion sizes are giant, and prices are fair. The service is unmatched. All the staff is super nice, friendly, and smiling. Even 20 minutes before closing, the host made guests feel welcome and did not rush them. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean and nicely decorated. The family room side of the building is great for kids. The 80’s rock music adds to the fun atmosphere. A highly recommended combo is #2 with brisket burnt ends and turkey. The dinner cakes/cornbread are the best.
