Best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. Bless these fine folks.
Cafe Aurora has become of go to for lunch on Orcas. We go up to Orcas several times per year and it is common to find us eating here several times per trip. The adults like it, the kids like it, so what is not to like‽ I’ll be back!

Café Aurora may be the single best reason to visit Orcas Island. The staff are fantastic-super friendly with total Island vibes. But the food….oh my gosh, the FOOD!!! We are currently eating a Bananas foster belgian waffle and a breakfast burrito that is blowing our minds!!! Go support this local restaurant and tell Max and Andrew their Salem friends said hi!

We stopped at this cafe while visiting the island. The hostess was very sweet and helpful the entire time.
Our food was at our table within ten minutes and was so good! Will definitely be back when we come to Orcas

Avocado and Tomato eggs Benedict was great! Eggs were poached perfectly and they had gluten free bread for me to substitute. I will say I prefer hash browns or potatoes to tots but it was still good! We talked to 3 separate staff members and all were very kind and welcoming! And we will return our next visit!

Cafe Aurora was so good that we ate there two days in a row. I had a great conversation with the co-owner, Amy, about their menu. She informed me that all of the menu items, other than the breakfast burrito and the lamb ragu, could be made gluten free. She also informed me that their deep fryer is dedicated GF. They do have a gluten free waffle mix, but not a dedicated GF waffle iron, so if you’re worried about cross-contact, you’ll definitely want to skip on the waffles. I felt confident and safe eating at Cafe Aurora, and appreciated the open communion when ordering. I’m the only one in our party of six that eats GF, but we all were very happy with everything that we ordered. I got the Pork Belly Eggs Benedict both days, it was that good!

I'm a King of the Diner kind of guy so I wasn't in my element walking into this quaint, cozy, little bistro. I'm glad I did though. The food was fantastic. The homemade sausage patty....mmm. Perfect eggs. I got the classic breakfast and it truly was. Thank you. Highly recommended.

The lighting was dim and I wish there was more indoor seating. I felt a little cramped. The food was delicious and I liked how you order and pay before sitting down. I got the breakfast burrito and it was delicious! It had all the breakfast basics inside a grilled fresh tasting tortilla.
