Adorable cocktail bar! Great for a couples night out or small group. A great menu with lots of variety for everyone, and delicious unique house cocktails. Menu is seasonal so there will always be something new and interesting, but be aware that the drinks you see in pics online may no longer be on the menu! May be a wait in the winter since the interior is small. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely experience at The Barnacle! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the island vibe. The drinks were great, and the overall atmosphere felt both intimate and unique. A special shoutout to the hostess—she was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Definitely worth a stop if you’re on Orcas Island!

The coziest little bar! I’m so glad we stumbled upon this gem for drinks with a good friend. We loved the ambience and our drinks were fab.

Lots of atmosphere but oversweet drinks and overexcitable service at very high prices put a damper on it

Great upscale cocktail lounge. Had a “90 days of August” which was fantastic. Love the intimacy of this small bar. We were there late so had already had dinner but their cheeseboard menu looked great. Proprietor was a snappy dresser and gave a sophisticated air to the place. Highly recommend.

This place is a dream — hip and low key vibes, great music, fantastic cocktails, tasty eats. It feels both incredibly specific to the island and exactly like the local bar you wish you could have in your neighborhood, wherever you live in the world. Bartender Jeff’s excellent service and kindness made the experience particularly perfect.

We landed here on my birthday while visiting Orcas Island. We had a great time here, Jeff is a wonderful host and made our evening very fun and special.
If you're looking for great cocktails, you're in for a great treat. I can easily see this to be my go to place every time I visit.

Cute spot! We had the cheese plate which was a 10/10. I wish there were more crackers to balance out the plate though. Friendly service as well.

Love this gem of a cocktail bar.
Tight space seats maybe 20 inside. Love the old world decor with the divided pane windows in front.
Super charming place to grab a drink and a snack before dinner.
We had the Onion dip and Sardine pate with crackers. It was tasty. I would try the meats and cheeses next time.
We had a chunk of the aged Gouda and it was proper

This unique, lovely little postage stamp of a bar is a must visit. The service is always world class, as are the drinks. It is the quintessential island experience. They sell small plates for snacking, but we recommend this as a pre-dinner place.

Can't speak to the drinks because we were never served any. Waited 30 minutes, decided to leave. We were seated outside. I went inside to get water and saw a bartender chatting it up but not really making any drinks for us or others outside. You have the same 19 seats each night. Serving the same amount daily can’t be a shock to you. Witnessed another party (locals who arrived before us) speak to the manager because they didn't get service either. I guess they didn't need us as customers.
