Beautiful small town. When we first got there, we almost left, being that we were brown I wasn’t too sure how we’d be treated. But I said you know what… let us give it a try. I’m so glad I went! The staff was so nice and welcoming. We felt so comfortable. I think our servers name was Drew (taller young guy) so kind very sweet! The food was BOMB so delicious! Mahalo and Aloha Drew for your smile and laughs. We got the hamburger steak with onions and mushroom gravy all over! Go check this place out so good! You will not be disappointed.

I walked into a small space, tables packed tight, no atmosphere, no music, fluorescent lighting and incredibly rude staff. Sign said wait to be seated, so I waited and staff just kept walking by and completely ignoring me. I even walked up to the bar area and it was obvious they could seat me at the small available table, but they said nothing, didn’t even look at me. I’m okay with waiting if they’re busy but they could’ve said something, said they’ll be right with me. Nothing. So much for a highly rated place that looks like a hospital diner inside with incredibly entitled rude staff.

I'll be honest, we were a little nervous once we got there. It's a small town and we weren't sure if they were going to be friendly to people who aren't from around there and also brown... (it happens in small towns sometimes!) 😬 As soon as we came inside though the host was very friendly. He sat us quickly and we felt at ease. It is a small restaurant (a house that was converted.) But it has charm. You can tell it's a loved place.
The burgers were delicious!! My son ate his in .2 seconds. We all loved our burgers and my husband and I got tots which were very good as well! Their ranch is homemade which is chefs kiss 🌟 I am a sucker for good ranch so we will be back! We stopped here on the way to Mt Ranier train.
I would highly reccomend!

Had the pleasure of visiting this cafe on our way from mt. Rainier. Ordered creamy tomato soup and wheat bread. The soup was warm and bread and the butter oh my god! Such a soulful food especially after being in the cold for long. The cafe is set in a house and had a retro charm. Ordered veggie burgers and onion rings - perfect option for vegetarians. Chicken strips were very well cooked. Overall a 10/10 exp.

INSANELY GREAT chicken fried steak . So tender you can cut it with a spoon!! Salad... excellent and fresh...baked potato so huge and loaded half the plate...fresh sauteed veggies were soooooo mouth watering...and then on top you get a loaf of fresh made bread?!! All while the staff is on top of everything with tables full...people waiting outside for to go orders and the phone ringing off the hook!!! ( NOTE TO THE MANAGERS!!!)....get a host that's job is to take all the to go orders over the phone ...
.your servers are getting WORKED!! that's not cool....

After a fun day at the NW Trek, we decided to stop by Cruiser for some Dinner. From the outside and in you already feel that homey vibe. Staff were so nice and respectful, it just felt genuine. Food choices were plenty and they all looked great. My group had such great experience there we're definitely coming back next time we’re in town.

The service was absolutely amazing. The food was good only issue I had was a grp of 3 at the bar seating kept cussing and there was many tables with toddlers including mine. It aint the establishments fault but its a tight spot so it was easily heard by all. All in all was an amazing place and I would definitely go back.

I have no idea how this place has such good reviews. Our children would not eat the grilled cheese (very hard to mess up grilled cheese). Paid extra for sweet potato fries that were burnt to a crisp. Paid extra for fresh fruit that was not fresh and was slimy. I was brought an entirely different meal from what I ordered and then was never checked on again. I can't believe there are so many good reviews for subpar freezer food. There were also tons of flies inside and the restaurant seemed pretty run down. Really wish we had gone anywhere else.

Food was exceptional. Was on my way back from visiting Mt Rainer & decided to give this spot a go. I ordered the chicken fried steak dinner that came with a drink, a big serving of food and a scoop of ice cream for under $25. Service was good & so was the atmosphere.

I couldn’t decide what to get. It’s been cold all day and I wanted something to warm me up! I got their loaded baker🤤 seriously best decision I made. It’s fluffy and buttery underneath all those amazing toppings. I’ve eaten here before and their milkshakes are great the cookies in the case were calling my name. This picture doesn’t do it justice it’s a lot bigger than I thought it would be and I couldn’t finish it myself. Thanks cruisers!
